grimm 12-09-2011 01:34 PM

that was the idea after i bought it. but, seeing that I barely put any miles on it this year after i got the s2000, it's just taking up garage space.

That, and having 3 cars is over kill.

i am getting rid of the durango. but, i dont' want to drive the mugen in the winter. my mom has a 09 civic, and that thing sucks in the snow, so i can only imagine how bad the mugen would be.

thus why, one of my ideas is

sell durango, sell mugen, buy nice car (or truck)

I need to find a job soon. This whole not working is starting to really piss me off.

jpalamar 12-12-2011 09:51 AM

So went out to leave and my e-brake was stuck. Water got into the line and caused it to bind. After about 1.5 hours of letting the exhaust heat things up along with 2 blow dryers I finally got it un-stucked.

Did some searching and there is a TSB for my car where the rubber boots are crap and rot out allowing water in. Of couse they don't sell just the boots and you gotta pay $150+ for the new revised lines. Needless to say, I'm just parking in the garage and not using the ebrake till spring. Not feezing anymore.

Then... I am cold so I stop by Dunken Doughnuts to get a hot chocolate and the guy hands it to me at the drive through and of course the lid wasn't on right and now my thumb is burnt to hell.

Such a bad morning.

We did go to Christmas Village to check it out... and it sucked. The lighting was good but there was really nothing there to do or interact with. No people in elf suits, no live music, no people singing. It was literally just very well lighted sheds with wooden cutouts and dolls.

HickRocket1258 12-12-2011 10:24 AM

Jay, the Christmas Village you talk about, where is that located? I was asked to go to that over this weekend but Im trying to remember where it was at.

Its maybe 30 minutes NW of Reading. Traffic backed up about 5 miles before but we used our GPS and looked for back roads. Ended avoiding a few miles of waiting to get to the parking lot but it still took some time.

piku 12-12-2011 11:58 AM

Well I made it to work okay which I guess means I replaced the alternator in the 540 properly (it's the water cooled jobbie that's buried). I want to be mad about the alternator but I know I probably ruined it myself when I cracked it open to replace the voltage regulator not very many miles ago, which itself probably only got weak because of my system.

grimm 12-12-2011 12:35 PM

very tired today
