I go to Amada for nearly every first date. Franza pull out the shocker.

took the lady there for our anniversary, good stuff. my cousin's friend's brother is the GM there.

Is he bald or does he have a beard? The bald guy used to be the GM at Morimoto.

I've been to Amada 6 times in the past few months, which is a lot for me considering I work 6 days/nights a week. I was not happy with the lunch I had yesterday from there, though. It was all good, but nothing special. I love the oysters on the dinner menu.

Franza, you can come to my restaurant if you want good sushi. Duhhhh.

1. I'll hook you up
2. You'll be celebrity status because I know you by name.

But you'll have to drive out of Philly, which might not be ideal for the situation.

the guy with the beard.

We got decided on the most expensive "chef selects" option. We were very pleased and full at the end of the night. but i think we'd have been happier with the cheaper more traditional food.

i gotta come out for sushi sometime... it's been months since i've had any... and probably longer since i've had good

Ito, I thought of you first man...but im not sure If I want to drive out of Philly. If I decide by tomorrow can I get a reservation?

for the record, a blind date should be somewhere local to ya'll and simple. don't do a movie, the object of a date is to talk to the person... sitting in a dark room for two hours is awkward.

an expensive dinner should be out of the question too. you don't know her... i presume she's at least attractive? have you seen a picture? if this chick is a nut job you want out asap. go to a diner, or some place known for simple and delicious but cheap food or deserts.

If things are going well, ask her out again and go to a nicer place for dinner.

Also, not sure where you're at exactly... but try something lame... an arcade, a bowling alley, pool hall (not really lame though). anything with a bit of competition gets hormones going and opens people up.

today is "fat tuesday", go get her drunk, see her boobies and walk back to one of your domiciles and get lucky.

Blind dates are a lot of fun. I've been on a few of them. The most important thing to remember is to just have a good time if you dig her or not. Just go out for a drinks and talk about stuff. If you're not feeling it, say good night after two beers, tell her it was nice meeting her and don't suggest a second date.

^You have been MIA for a while

lol thats harsh advice but truth, I guess no point in wasting time if your not feeling it.

So the date went well..I think. We ended up going out for drinks in Philly, because she had to work late. No big deal. We had a few drinks, talked for 2 hours and then went our separate ways. She thanked me for the drinks blah blah and I mentioned that maybe we could go out to dinner next week. I cant remember her response though. I guess now....I just wait a few days and call her?

DPancoast 03-11-2011 12:27 AM

Congrats man. Glad it went well
