Took the new mags out today.. I have to say, they are SO much better than those crappy factory mags.. I'm thinking about selling the factory ones and just buying two more of the Wilsons.

i habe one factory and some $10 mags with chrome stepped followers that run 100%. took me a bit to get a set of 3 good ones.

I went looking at a .22 mp5 yesterday, it felt kind of cheap with all the plastics, anyone have one of these or shot one?

Some of the best mags out there. The chip McCormick mags run pretty good too.

I put about 70 rounds through my Glock 22 today. All flawless. Did some defensive drills. Played with the shot time app on my iPhone. Worked pretty well.

considered a Ruger LPC today as my first handgun/carry weapon. Pretty cool little thing.

Not a bad gun, but it's better served as a backup due to its size.

If you're looking for a smaller carry gun, try a Springfield XDM 3.8 or maybe a Glock 26

DC2.2GSR 04-08-2012 11:11 AM

yeah i'm not all about an LCP as a first hand gun. small .380s aren't bad since they're pretty cheap and easy to carry, but i think everyone should learn the fundamentals on a larger carry-worthy gun first and they once they actually develop a preference for shooting or carrying a certain way, then switch over to a small gun. LCPs (or similar small .380s) aren't exactly very easy to fire for hundreds of rounds over long periods of time, and that's the most important thing for learning, lots of trigger time.

They are fun, but def a no-go for lefties!!

Munky 04-12-2012 12:33 AM

Plenty of lefties shot my MSAR when I had it with no issues.

HaveBlue83 04-12-2012 07:07 AM

for $1,300+ they could at LEAST include a left bolt/option....i refuse to pay another $200 on top for that.

the ejec port is next to your face, i dunno how they pulled that off.

2quickTc 04-12-2012 08:18 AM

My Uncle went with us, who is a lefty, and when he held the one bullpup up to his shoulder the bolt was all but touching his face. He didnt shoot it obviously, but if the shell didnt smack him square in the face the charging handle would have probally cut him open. The MSAR's do not have a charging handle like on the ak's, but you are already aware of that.
