Ok someone help me here. I'm not completely familiar with the DUI laws, but the girl that sits next to me said she got a DUI back in New Jersey in 2008 and her court case is soon. She said that New Jersey can't take her liscense and that she just won't be able to drive in NJ. Does that sound right? I'm curious to know the answer myself and I don't think she's right. Oh and she is underage.

I belive driving offenses only transfer though commonwealth states. So I wouldn't be surprices if there were loopholes like getting an out of state drivers license, saying you live with a relative and having your car registered there. But I'm no expert.

I don't understand why DUI laws are so laxed in the first place though.

I'll probably be in an out on here, have to meet a client for 3 cool cars he wants done :-p Then I'll most likely be on the comp relaxing and catching up on forum stuff.

Lol Brandon's DUI charges were not lax at all.

There's a significant difference here. DUI charges are SOMEWHAT lax, Brandon stole a car and got a DUI, there is zero reason to be lax there.

Oakes 11-23-2009 02:06 PM

So I just did a quick chalk up of my hours in the past week (Monday-Sunday) and it's at 79.4, and I'm back in work today, this includes working for a friend moving warehouses this weekend which in a word - sucked.

I know what you're saying but everything about his punishment was because of the DUI. The other charge only gave him extended probation.

HickRocket1258 11-23-2009 02:17 PM

Nick, cry me a river haha. Just kidding buddy. :)

Big_Jim 11-23-2009 02:17 PM
