I havent been to hooters in about 3 yrs, and that was for dinner before my buddies bachelor party. It was the one in bensalem, and the bill was around $450.

we don't get overtime here b/c we're all salary. So, to make up for the large amount of overtime some of us (myself NOT included) put in they've started a raffle each week and a number of people are pulled out to receive a "gift" as thanks...

this gift pretty much turned out to be a big slap in the face in the form of a $10 visa gift card... coworker got $10 for 27 hours of overtime. needless to say... a lot of people that have been putting in vast amounts of overtime have now stopped

things like that don't make sense. how does mgt not see that $10 is a slap in the face versus something to be happy about as a gift.

Morale took a huge hit with that... I'm really not sure how management thought it was a good idea. We were happier putting in extra hours for nothing. I know of a handful of people that went from 80 hour weeks down to 40 once we found out...

Doesn't affect me though, I've always refused ot requests because there is no compensation or appreciations for the extra work. Unless of course the ot is warranted on my project by my own fault

i had a website like 2 years ago. our school blocked EVERYTHING, so i added a proxy onto the site from my other computer. maintained it for like 4 months, then i never touched it again.

i do... i give it another 6 months. i've got enough going on now w/ side work that i think it'll be going well enough in 6 months to support myself
