jordan.. just get a vehicle with a turret mounted on it already. combine the two hobbies.

Snoozie 11-11-2009 03:09 PM

Instead of quoting everyone I'll just give a round about answer.

I go to Sean @ Phenomabomb Tattoo in Dublin, PA. I wait for as long as I do because he is the one who does my work. He has done all of my work and I'm happy with going to him. As far as the wait goes, it is ridiculous. I talked to his girlfriend/partner last night and she said the same thing. Also, Keith and I have been going to Sean for over five years now and know him pretty well. I have no doubt in my mind that I will get in before 2011 for that very reason. Do I think having the appointment 14 months out is a big deal? No, not at all.

So...yeah.

Does anyone know if you can get a mortgage on a house with no kitchen or bathrooms? Basically a shell.

Big_Jim 11-11-2009 03:54 PM

Rob, you probably can.

jpalamar 11-11-2009 03:59 PM

I bet you can get the loan, it will only be for the appraised value I would assume. No different then buying a fixer-upper and flipping it right?

angdefeo 11-11-2009 04:06 PM

^ you are correct. it might be more difficult to get that these days given the economy. you might be able to get a construction or personal loan after you buy the place in order to fix it up. then after the rehab, you can refinance the place and convert it to a convetional mortgage.

god people on this site are so ****ing ridiculous

grimm 11-11-2009 04:19 PM

honestly I don't think it would be all to possible , if it is possible it's going to be a lot of work. Most mortgages are based on the property having a Certificate of occupancy. Most banks don't loan money for something that is not deemed livable.

i don't think he'd be able to get the initial loan to buy the place if it doesn't have a certificate of occupancy.

angdefeo 11-11-2009 04:32 PM

I forgot all about the certificate of occupancy.

HickRocket1258 11-11-2009 04:35 PM

My dad was saying that it's a higher rate on the construction or personal loan until you can get a convential mortgage.
