how are you gonna get a suppresor? i seen a compact usp 9mm at tanners brand new for 750 or 850, 9 more months and its mine.

does any1 know if colt still manufactures ar-15's?

ITSTOCK 01-23-2008 06:50 PM

The suppressor is a $200 tax stamp and approval upon authorities (local included).

Yes, Colt still manufactures AR-15's. Look in to the Colt 6920.

Instead of copying and pasting (I think that the process has even been posted in this thread), here is a link...

itstock you have some crazy guns. where do you shoot them?

ITSTOCK 01-24-2008 07:07 PM

XD9 sub in od green? I honestly haven't seen one yet, that looks nice! Have you decided on getting a pinky extension for the mag yet, or did it come with the extended mags??

I shoot at classic pistol, membership=save big money. I paid $165 (yearly membership), and it's by far paid for itself even though I haven't gone in almost a month

^^^ I held that gun @ the gun shop next to Mazziaos on Rt 309 in Colemar but wasn't too impressed. They were asking I think around 260ish for it...

Well since this is a "GUN THREAD"....

This is my old mans GLOCK 17. It's serial number FT4xx, from 1988-9ish and has been his carry gun ever since . The last time that he has cleaned it was 1998. The gun has about 40,000 rounds through it, and the last 15,000 are without cleaning. I honestly didn't know what to expect as far as dirt was concerned, but I would say that it's pretty damn clean! The exterior has held up rather well also for a 20 year old gun. It even still has the stupid non-drop free mag. I'm sure some of you have glocks that FAR succeed the use of this one, but I was bored and wanted to take pictures!

The barrel...

And I got this in the mail today for the 9mm AR 15 pistol build...

It comes in a nice little pouch with a belt loop and all...

And 100 rounds through an AR pistol should be fun! Not practical, but fun! This is purely for range enjoyment.

i never understood the reasoning behind not cleaning your guns, i know its a test to show how it would hold up, but it would be in better condition if you cleaned it. i dont think you need to prove the gun is 99% fail proof, everyone knows glocks and such are, and its already been proven. it takes 10 minutes to clean a handgun.

thats just my opinion, and your guns.

garrettej8 01-26-2008 08:49 PM

I'll clean mine whether I put 10 or 1000 rounds thru it. I like cleaning my guns actually.

ITSTOCK, that's really awesome. A lot of people still hang onto their 1st gen glocks and they still perform great. It looks pretty good for being so old too.

I was going to get a glock 17 until I held the xd9. It just felt so much better and lets be honest, it looks a bit better than the glock cosmetically. Neither are going to win a beauty contest but they both still look sexy and perform excellent.

In other news, I'm ordering an ar-15 on monday. I'm going with the Olympic Arms k3b-m4. It fits my price range and the reviews are great.

My old mans Glock isn't a test. It wasn't cleaned because simply put, it did NOT HAVE TO BE CLEANED. It really is that simple. No sense in "fixing something that isn't broken". I clean all of my guns anyway, except for a couple times I let my glock go a couple thousand rounds, and my xcr go about 5000 rounds. Most guns, believe it or not, were made with the idea that you don't HAVE to clean them all of the time.
