retirement FTW as well as ING - my 401k is thru Vanguard and I've had it for a couple years now, hopefully I can keep contributing like I have been and when I retire I should have about 2 mil in there at an 8-10% return :supz:

my company matches up to 6%... so im getting 10% taken to add a little extra.

Company match ftw. That's part of why my balance is going up nicely. Almost up to 10k in there already. Never thought I'd be planning for my retirement so early

My company matches 25% :eek:. Yeah, that's a lot. I usually never see a company that matches that much.

So for very dollar I put in they give me $.25. Not bad eh?

Yea, my trip to paris looks gloomier every day i check the exchange rate. I'm just glad i didn't pick the UK or i wouldn't be able to go (i reserved the flight 3 months ago).

are you sure thats how its set up? most people i talk to get a dollar for dollar match or at least 50 cents on the dollar match on their contributions, but only up to a certain percentage that they put in.

for example, my company will put in 50 cents for every dollar i put in, up to 4% of my income.

i know some people who get a dollar for every dollar they put in, up to 6% of their income.

i assumed that was more of the norm, but i guess i dont know what the norm really is.

...would it have been bad if I left my car at a gas station in Trenton with the hopes of it getting stolen so I can get the insurance money?
