lol! i would rather have gotten a 50 dollar gift.

I gave my wife a $9 mini bingo cage from who knows where for her BD... needless to say - there was grief in the air.

If your eventual goal is to get in Federal law enforcement, spend some time now until your have the other qualifications to learn a foreign language. I cant stress enough how much that will help you when you apply for Federal jobs how much that will make you stand out among the other people applying. If you are good with languages, try to learn Mandarin or Cantonese. The feds cannot find enough people willing to work in law enforcement and speak chinese.

I have a few friends in law enforcement, the biggest thing right now for languages is Arabic due to domestic terrorism and such. Thanks to my friend rosetta stone though,it makes learning a whole lot easier.

Foolinaround 10-22-2009 03:33 PM

another funny thing, i learned to read japanese faster then speak it

Elliott18t 10-22-2009 03:37 PM

i took japanese in HS. Forgot almost all of it.

HickRocket1258 10-22-2009 03:39 PM

Well I continued to get sex and she was never bitchy about it. Of course I took her out to dinner for her bday, but my unit was still there and being used haha.

Foolin, I plan on staying where I'm at now until I can get the funds to take the police academy at DCCC at night for a year. It will help me big time having a college education when I go to find a job. A friend of mine said it doesn't matter what kind of college education, it's a huge advantage.

Foolinaround 10-22-2009 03:40 PM

reading it is so much easier then speaking it,especially because of pronunciations.
like kitsune instead of sounding "Kit soon" its "keats ne"
