I'm really partial to the BMW's. The reason is because I've been through most makes of cars. Never managed to have a toyota though ;) Then again it never occurred to me before TST that a toyota could go fast. I would say the american muscle cars have the most charm. Terrible cars but you just love them so much. If I had to pick another car though I'd probably get an STi. I like the idea of the Evo but I dunno.. I keep hearing bad things about them. I know for a fact the STi can stand up to an insane beating because of my old roomate ;) I should draft up my list of cars and what I think of them:
BMW: Clinically perfect in nearly every way, reliable, awesome, technical perfection, nearly 0 lovability. A drivers car.
Mercedes: Nearly perfect in every way. This car however drives you. More lovable than bmw's. C300 sport is actually reasonably priced!
GM: Totally lovable, 0 quality, except the australian made monaro based cars
Ford: More quality than chevy, but wtf is everything round?
Toyota: Slowyota - except the unobtainable supra and mr2 turbo.
Honda: Like assholes, everyone's got one...
Saab: Visually appealing cars which while they have turbo are fwd, handle like crap, are too slow and cost wayyyyy too much.
Hyundai: Look they're trying but something still rubs me the wrong way. The genesis has got the looks.
VW: Like a BMW or Mercedes that falls apart in 2 years or 50,000 miles, whichever is greater
Audi: Maybe better than VW? I won't touch one after my VW experience
Subaru: Seem fairly indestructible
Mitsubishi: I underrated these cars. They look like hell but just keep going. Stupid high parts prices
Mazda: Like a honda but not. Again stupid high parts prices
Volvo: I got my ass handed to me by an S60 Type R. But it was supposed to be a competitor to the E46 M3. Fail.
Did I miss any? :-P
Edit: Oh yeah Saturn: What were they trying to accomplish here?
Edit: Chrysler and Dodge: Hmmmm... I got nothing. No experience with any of em.
