So i got some more work done today. All the airlines are ran and secured, wiring is 99% done, and i test fitted some wheels which ended up fitting exactly how i was hoping. Sadly theyre already sold to someone else.

Hopefully by friday it'll be complete and ready to drive

A little too much tuck for my style, but youre doing it right, Id say a little higher with like a 9.5 wheel and youre all set

Since I wanna run decent size tires I can't run any more poke, plus it's already pushing it at ride height. If u saw it in person you'd see what I'm saying. In all honesty it sits EXACTLY how I was hoping so I'm pretty hype now I know what to order :)

We need to get another shoot when its nicer out and everyones cars are generally where they want them

Hells yes we should. Ill have wheels in the next 2 months, and I think niko said he'll have his new ones by mid-march. So maybe some time in April we can all meet up again :)

boostedfury 02-26-2013 10:32 AM

Makes sense I'll take the meatier tires too, can't wait to see it in person!

Yea I just can't bring myself to run stretched tires on the car. It pulls the 255's off so well so it's all good :) anddddd yeaaaa....maybeee you can come lolz

Im hoping this weekend itll be on the road and we can get some pics

Also, i THINK i may have decided on some wheels. Depends how work goes over the next couple of weeks but i seriously cant be driving around in a bagged car on stock wheels lol. Once everything gets finalized ill put up what they are, but i dont wanna jump the gun. Nothing TOO impressive, but def something ive been wanting for a while.

one8turbo 03-03-2013 04:43 PM

Okay i took some real pictures with a real camera. Far from my best shots but whatever, theyll do the trick :/ The car is filthy and hasnt been washed in weeks, the interior is covered in dog hair, but hey atleast its finished. Oh and you might notice i took off the mud flaps.

Damn Id say you had to take the flaps off, still a little too dumped for me, but hows it ride? You happy overall? Do you feel like you lost anything with ditching the coilovers?

Well its definitely not for everyone but im loving it. To simplify the answer to your questions....if you drove my car a month ago, and then drove it today, you would not be able to tell the difference. So lets just say ride quality and handling is on par with BC BR coils, which arent harcore track coils but are still a nice and EXTREMELY popular set up. Ill take ya for a ride if we ever meet up again

Shipman 03-03-2013 06:48 PM

Alright man, sounds good, Im digging my coils right now but Im not opposed to air, so I would like to see the feel. Once you get new wheels itll be a sick set up

Looks great!!! That leveling system is awesome too. If you need to get an alignment let us know.

Just get your driving hieght where you want on one of your settings and give us a call if you need to get an aligment done. Love it though!!

Thanks man

Ill most likely schedule an alignment with you guys once i get my wheels in since im sure my ride height will be different with wide wheels and tires than it is now. The alignment is close enough now though, plus i hardly drive the car any more.

And i havent installed the height sensors yet haha so no presets yet, gonna hopefully do them next weekend if the weather cooperates
