As far as tie rods, make sure that the nuts holding the ball joints are torqued to spec. If they are, you'll be fine.

Actually I've thought this over. It's not like the inner tie rods can just fall out. They would have to thread out and the threads are like an inch long. I eyeballed the rods and my alignment is unbelievably off (the steering wheel points sideways as I drive). If one of the tie rods started threading out, the toe out would be so bad that you would be a complete idiot if you didn't notice this developing. That makes me feel better. Now I just have to get that center ball joint bolt torqued to spec. Right now it's just gutentight.

16 is too young for a serious relationship. and she's got 9 years for doctor's to figure out what is wrong and fix it. besides, people have been told "2 months" and have gone on for years and years

sleeperSL2 10-18-2009 03:30 PM

Yeah i told her i'll be here for her when she needs someone (dad died, mom works two jobs) no matter what. but a relationship i dont think is the best thing.

I would just like to say, today was the first time this year I actually had to scrape frost off my windshield.

DPancoast 10-19-2009 08:58 AM

lol i knew it was gonna be there so i woke up 10 mins early to let my car warm up and just watched outside until i saw it was melted. Still sucks tho.

Morning everyone. After such a great weekend, its hard to frown on this monday. Im glad the sun is out and that it will bw a nice day today.

Meeting up with the buyer of the MR2 i was selling today. Thank goodness it sold quick lol. Should have my clutch and trans replaced by thanksgiving pending i can find some space for a weekend.

Other than that just another day at work. Hows everyone doin?

jpalamar 10-19-2009 09:03 AM

How bad is the install on the rear engine? Hope you don't have to drop or anything crazy like that.

HickRocket1258 10-19-2009 09:13 AM

Howdy everyone. Hope you all are doing well. Just at work doing some work for once. Started having some bad problems with my knee. Was in a lot of pain the last couple days during short car rides, basically not allowing me to drive far distances like the Sherwood thing. The girlfriend thinks I might have like torn ligaments, maybe.

i got into work a little early today because i figured i'd be wasting time at the dealership having an estimate done on the "damage" to the mustang. however, i neglected to consider that i normally don't have anything to do on a monday morning

chick came into my lane wednesday night to avoid a vehicle in her lane turning abruptly. her driver side mirror came up my passenger fender and exploded on my passenger side mirror. paint is fine, metal is fine... just needs some buffing to get her paint off the surface. but the plastic trim of my mirror is chewed up a little bit.

not a big deal, but i'm not paying for it to be fixed. her insurance should cover it no problem.

jpalamar 10-19-2009 09:29 AM

Soudns good that it isn't anything serious. Either way it sucks though.

russiankid 10-19-2009 09:37 AM

Today is rough. Got home around 10 last night and had a test today at 8:30am.

yeah it does suck, but only a little bit. She could have full on side swiped me and i'd be in jail for murdering her and skull ****ing her... just to humiliate her even more :o

russiankid 10-19-2009 09:43 AM

You are what you eat, Ken.

HickRocket1258 10-19-2009 09:44 AM

I can't imagine how I'd feel if someone ran into my mustang, although I wouldn't mind if it was the front bumper because that's a mess haha. But I'd be so pissed, but I'd have to try and control myself at the same time.

Scapegoat 10-19-2009 09:46 AM

i need a tuner thing-a-ma-bob for the mustang... http://www.americanmuscle.com/2010-m...ps-tuners.html

Elliott18t 10-19-2009 09:52 AM
