Do any of you guys shoot skeet/trap/sporting clays? I was shooting my cousins 12ga over the weekend at some clays, and I think it might be something I want to get into.

Any suggestions on "entry" guns for any of those events? I want to keep it reasonably priced, but it seems like an over/under gun is ideal (which could easily run $1500).

I own the above 12 gauge, and a pistol, but I want a rifle as well. I never use my shotgun so that's going up for sale. I'm not super knowledgeable in rifles, though after a lot of research I've settled with a 7.62 AK47. I'm heading to a couple of gun shows coming up, but curious if anyone else has a recommendation on a good LOCAL company to purchase from. Currently I'm aware of only one, Surplus City, in NE Philly. Thanks!

I shoot sporting clays a lot... My boss loaned me a Browning Citori to use and so far I really like it. He may be selling it in Jan, so I am thinking about making it officially mine.

There's a show out in Leesport on the 7th and 8th I think it is. It's at the farmers market. Sounds like it's not huge, but a gun show is a gun show.

went shooting yesterday to try out my new smith and wesson m&p 15-22 i just bought myself. Here it is next to my mossberg 500.

Where does your mom live you could do that?

in the woods, here's a video from that day.

First mag through the gun, Had 3 ftf's. After about 200rds its running flawless. I wasn't expecting greatness from cheap dirty .22lr rds but hey its workin great now.

Considering getting something small for almost pocket carry or IWB where I will hardly feel it, the G19 is just a tad big so I want to explore other options, that said I don't NEED to buy anything else.

First things first, 9mm or .380?

I looked at the Ruger LCP and LC9 and I think the
Sig P290 or P238?
Kahr CM9 or it's .380 brother?

I kinda ruled out the G26 because it's no thinner than the 19 I have now. Just looking for a smaller package for deeper concealment.

Smith & Wesson Bodyguard /discussion  You can even see the Uncle Mikes holster I bought for it. Fits perfect in the front pocket of every pair of pants/shorts I own. Noone ever notices it and if they do they assume it's a cell phone/wallet.

Coworker has a KelTec P11 that he never shoots and says its small. Thoughts on this gun from anyone?

It's not a bad gun but Kel-Tec isn't know for making the best pistols. Chances are you can get it pretty cheap though. I'd go with the LCP in a Desanto Nemesis Holster, I carry that pretty much everyday. I also really like the CM9, which I might pick up sometime. I also have a Glock 26 which I agree is to thick for IWB carry.

CleanNeon98 12-28-2011 04:17 PM

I carry my 19 iwb at my 5:00 and its not bad, b.ut could be better. I can get the p11 with extra mags and the holster from him for 180 maybe less. He said it starts to FTE after about 50 rounds consecutive, i dunno if this is a problem with the gun, his ammo, or just the nature of the beast
