a change of destination Nick... Fox and Hound?

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...6&z=15&iwloc=A

jpalamar 10-01-2009 04:29 PM

Camps is better then Fox and Hound and is like 100 yards away from it. I never leave Fox and Hound happy for some reason, drinks take forever, waitress is always dumb, can't really complain about food thouhg. But my opinion doesn't matter cause I'm not coming.

Elliott18t 10-01-2009 04:31 PM

champs is alright, been a while since ive been there. Bahama breeze? lol

Scapegoat 10-01-2009 04:31 PM

champs is horrible... the beer list is horrible... the food is horrible... the waitresses are all underage and horrible

Elliott18t 10-01-2009 04:33 PM

like i said, been a while. aka couldnt drink yet and with family lol..

Oakes 10-01-2009 04:39 PM

Underage is fine for me lol

Fox and Hound works, I'll head there from here, It'll be considerably longer for me since all the traffic is down here but I know some back roads.

So, my story of the day. actually two.

First, during lunch today i was sitting listening to my ipod and happened to notice a mentally challenged kid struggling getting his lunch and maneuvering through the sea of hungry animals in the cafeteria today, i watch for a few moments and when no one stops to help him, i get up and start to make my way over to him to help, as i move closer, as im watching, the mentally challenged individual accidentally bumps in to a kid who was literally, pushing his way through the crowd, knocking the mentally challenged kids stuff on the ground. The who was pushing his way through the crowd shoves the mentally challenged kid and starts shouting at him in profanities, i step in, because the kid has no right to yell at the mentally challenged kid when it was his fault in the first place, and second off because i know how frustrating it is for a mentally challenge individual, my nephew who is 8 is mentally challenged.

sorry for the long post. just aggravated me that some people don't care.

DPancoast 10-02-2009 02:17 AM

damn thats messed up that that kid would do that...

Seriously, that person was real ****ed up. A long time friend of mine and my brother's her little brother was mentally challenged, and before i got kicked out of catholic school the older kids would have to switch off going to play with the "kids" during recess and lunch. I actually didn't mind it, i got to sit around and build some ballin ass monster domino's. However when a group of "lower classmen" started picking on him, Every single person who knew our friend "kristen" and her brother literally was walking to this group of 4 individual's who really didn't know wtf they just got into. Needless to say, they were executed at the dodgeball wall. I dont have a real point other that i dont take kindly to people picking on others like that.

Alright...putting down the pipe... :-p

I have never met you but i want to shake your hand for standing up and helping that guy in the cafeteria today. Most people today are so wrapped up in their own lives that they dont notice other human beings needing help. Let alone taking a step to help them in a moment of need in a public setting. You did a good thing.

Sleeper, you seem to find some weird situations. First roomate issues and now this.

Oakes 10-02-2009 08:00 AM

I'm with Ang on that one, in all honesty, I joke a LOT about a lot of things but I can't stand when people are just...wrong...to put it in a word. I've been around a lot of challenged, deaf and blind kids growing up, since I was around deaf kids the most (hence my own hearing loss) I've run into a lot of idiots, and as I got older I understood what they went through because you all know I'm not legally deaf - I'm hard of hearing - but growing up a lot of kids didn't know the difference. So I was in a few situations myself so I make it a point to stand up for those that are subjected to assholes.

Roomate issues are one of the most common things in college :-p

I can't tell you how many of my friends ended up having gay roomates.
