I feel like several trains ran over me and then shoved 80 pounds of rocks into my stomach. Wtf. Maybe I worked out a little too hard this morning.

DPancoast 09-18-2009 05:32 PM

Hey I should ask you healthy people how this sounds.

Mon, tues, thurs and fri my routine is:
Jog about 3.75 miles, sprint the last 3/4 mile until I'm toast, walk the rest of the way home to cool down.

Then do (with couple minute breaks between)
60 situps
16 pushups
21 pushups
40 situps
15 pushups
15 pushups
30 situps
21 pushups (lol this is more like 5 sets of 4 with my arms dying).

Then I do 3 sets of 10 reps on each arm with a 30 pound dumbell (though I really should have gotten a 40 I think but I'll probably buy a plate set).

By this point I am fairly dead. Between this and the slim fast diet I've been dropping more than 2 pounds a week and am setup to be at high school weight (aka 10 years ago) in the next month. It's one of the cooler things to have clothes that you couldn't wear for years that you can wear again. I've not been able to lose weight so far in my life so I'm so beyond stoked it's not funny.

One of my goals is to be able to do 100 consecutive pushups, I'm a long way from there. I can however easily do 100 consecutive situps. I never thought I'd be able to do that. My stomach is mad strong now underneath all that fat ;)
