^^ 25 crank.

Dan, I think you have the clutch in backwards, or something isn't installed correctly.

Do you really need one? I think most walmarts give them away by the lay-away or customer service desks. I'd call around and see if stores gave them away...

Scapegoat 09-16-2009 01:16 PM

grocery stores have tons of free cardboard... don't you work at giant kev?

anybody happen to know off the top of their head what hp sti fuel rails and lines will start leaning out at?

lots of 400-450 whp guys with stock rails/lines, just a walbro and injectors.
some do rails as well but i've never heard that its needed.
seems like 500+ whp guys go to rails but they also need to start thinking about a 2nd fuel pump at that level, and are doing a lot of other work to break that power barrier.

annnd i just ate some cranberry sauce. yum. annoying that it took me 20 mins to eat a small bowl of it though.

I am pretty sure he would rather ship them in boxes made for struts. Just easier as they are a bit stronger than regular boxes.

Vr-4-Life 09-16-2009 01:20 PM

jpalamar 09-16-2009 01:20 PM

It occurred to me one day shopping at Giant at 2am that I would be a genius if I could turn cardboard into a useful building material with little energy. I suppose the people already turning it into insulation are doing a pretty good job. Then there's that whole weird recycling thing...

I didn't see the original thread. Hense why I asked if he really needed one. Just offered a suggestion even though I didn't know the actual reason he needed it.

I feel like going on another facebook friend deleting rampage. For some reason it irks me to have people from high school on there that I haven't talked to since high school and will never talk to again marked as my "friend". I know it's just facebook, but it still annoys me somehow. That and their stupid ass status updates ;)

join the club, I did that this morning when I was bored.

sam, while its possible, i think the problem would have arose much sooner than 3k miles. With the hydrolics taking a ****, it wouldnt surprise me if something is tweaked... Especially the pressure plate. Having to ride the clutch just to move in freak traffic situations put a good beating on the whole system.

Anyway. ACT street disk kit and a replacement friction plate for my flywheel is like $525 shipped. Trans has to come out either way. Theres no way around it and a 70% increase in tourque capacity is good for $500 since theres a lot over stock on my setup.

Increased torque capacity = increased pedal pressure. Don't go too insane or your leg will regret it :-p

ACME.... and ACME are a bunch of bastards when it comes to getting stuff. They'd sooner throw away something 2 days past expiration than give it to a starving employee

Cause if that starving employee gets "sick" because of an "expired" product, ACME goes down. It's all regulation anyway, quit your bitching. If an employee is starving, it's their own fault, ACME is only responsible to pay them.

Someone was a sandy vag. But yea, it def saves them lawsuits, and also makes you give part of your money back to them when you shop there.

Oakes 09-16-2009 02:14 PM

No sandy vag here, just having less and less toleration for pointless bitching about unnecessary ****. That's all. :)
