Anybody hear about the $8k for first time buyers getting pushed for another year? Was told that they might extend it for next year. Anyone else hear anything?

CHAOS 09-10-2009 10:16 AM

Scapegoat 09-10-2009 10:16 AM

i've heard nothing... but i'm not in the market... though... i came to the realization as i was peeing in the shower this morning that i could be if i didn't buy the mustang and have to worry about paying off the srt asap... but then i got in the blue horse and drove to work and forgot all about owning property in a country i'm hoping to move out of in the next 4-5 years

I haven't heard anything yet. But, I'm really hoping they do. We're not ready to buy yet but would like to when our lease is up this time next year. Our friends bought a house earlier this year and got $16k back.

Property > Car yet few people will do it that way. I'm doing my 20 years in the Army and having my nice cars. Then buying a house cash when I retire.

car = being able to flee the parachuting cubans and russians.

i do want to own property, but i do intend on moving to europe at some point in my life for at least a few years

That would be awsome to live in Europe, except V8 + their gas prices hurt. I'm hoping to get stationed in the Neatherlands but do dread petrol prices. Can't wait though.

Elliott18t 09-10-2009 10:33 AM

i hope to move to sweden or germany near the black forest lol

HickRocket1258 09-10-2009 10:34 AM

A friend I have been talking to about the housing thing told me about it but maybe it was just a rumor. I would be in the market for a house next year if they had it, but even if they didn't.
