Rob, no discounts for walk ins unfortunately.

Edit: Turbo mustangs are the **** btw. You should do a hellion kit rob. Or ken.

Thanks Dan, you've been a lot of help. And I think out of Ken and I, I think he would be more than likely to do helion kit than me.

Scapegoat 09-04-2009 12:31 PM

link to hellion kit? i'd rather get a supercharger though

Elliott18t 09-04-2009 12:33 PM

+1 You may get more out of a turbo but the heat it generates sucks ass. I'll take A supercharged V8 also.

and the roush supercharger doesn't void my ford drivetrain warranty... the 4.6l 3v really can't be built up too much w/o getting inside it. the supercharger is an easy 400whp w/o any other upgrades and doesn't void warranty...

CHAOS 09-04-2009 12:37 PM

lol heat it generates? wtf r u talking about? thats the first time ive ever heard someone concerned about heat.

thats the ticket... warranty = win.

ASIAN JUL 09-04-2009 12:38 PM

:rotfl: I can only readily identify like 4 things in that whole engine bay. I suck.

That is one thing I always liked about Mustangs. They had preformace parts that dont kill your warrenty. Ford even hac 373 gear options on the 2010s.

bam!

ROUSHchargers® are the only Ford Mustang superchargers on the market protected by a 3 year / 36,000 mile drivetrain warranty, or one year on ROUSH® components for vehicles already past their warranty date.

the key is to buy cars so cheap that instead of just fixing it you buy a new one. but if you're me you just be a dumbass and dump stupid amounts of money into them.

Yeah they have a whole performance line for the mustangs but they really aren't worth it power wise compared to other products out there. I would just keep it stock until you don't have warranty anymore.

Scapegoat 09-04-2009 12:47 PM

stock... psh... the supercharger will get me to where i want powerwise.... then its onto a larger throttle body and exhaust... long tubes and the rest of the shebang.

that'll make me more than happy power wise

Can't forget gears Ken. Major bang for your buck right there.

I left my crown for my tooth in a ziplock bag until I had my dentist appt today because it came off. Well looks like my mom accidentally threw it away. $700 down the drain. She never checks what the **** could be in the bag.

Scapegoat 09-04-2009 12:52 PM

well... i was just talking about strict power adders. none of those should void my warranty.

as far as the rest... gonna get a nice autocross suspension set up done and def go with either 3.73's or 4.10's

240sxDann 09-04-2009 12:56 PM

Ken you should consider reversing the order in which you get all those parts. Bolt ons first then forced induction. The bolt ons help support the forced induction better. (i.e. having a larger better flowing throttle body lets the charger force more air in faster, long tubes and full exhaust get it out faster)

Correct Dan. You really are robbing the potential hp out of not doing those things with or before the supercharger. You are choking it to death basically.
