I'll help you out. What's your plans for the install?

97TurboDSM 01-14-2009 10:24 PM

okay. is it even remotely possible taht all of this was caused by bad gas? i ran the tank near empty and refueled and everything is fine. everything was good as the fuel level lowered too. what in the world is happening.

assault187 01-14-2009 11:25 PM

water in gas will run rough with misfires and such....

97TurboDSM 01-14-2009 11:29 PM

hm. it started happening after i got gas from sheetz. ever heard of ****ty gas from them?

97TurboDSM 01-15-2009 08:31 PM

evo injectors are good and everything is on point. Still need to take the car for a spin but i have homework to do so that will wait till tomorrow. pulling the RC's revealed a ton of gunk buildup and possibly the reason for my troubles. also tightened up a vacuum hose on the intake manifold that had to be causing trouble.

Let us know

97TurboDSM 01-16-2009 10:27 AM

drives 100x better and is 100x smoother both at idle and during driving. i still need to get new gaskets to fix the boost leak i have at the manifold/turbo but that will be this weekends project.

If you're getting spark, but no ______, you need to check your _____ pump and _____ resistor box, like stated.

Fill in the blanks, homeslice. :)

97TurboDSM 01-23-2009 05:21 PM

edit: the car doesnt crank. its not a spark or fuel problem
