I'm at work. I had a long night. I just wanted a damn soda this morning. I don't care if I just consumed 160 calories. Those 160 calories were delicious.

I can't go to the doc right now. Beyond the fact that I don't have medical insurance, I'm at work and I don't even have a car.

TROLL 09-02-2009 11:53 AM

well I mean, ya know... set up a doc appt. for the earliest possible convenience for you, of course.

Why didn't you just buy a mightly vac? It's only 30bucks.

I have a motive bleeder too. If you bought the adapter for it, we'd both benefit because you'd get to use the motive bleeder whenever and I'd have an adapter that would probably work with my 3000gt ;)

hell mr2 clutches are easy as balls to bleed anyway, the bleed valve drops down and there's tons of clearance, not like some other toyotas.....

Tons of clearance on my car! You just have to do it when the engines not hot!

jpalamar 09-02-2009 12:38 PM

Speaking of bleeding. Anyone wanna help me do mine? Its up in the bell housing. Kinda takes 2 people to do it.

phate1229 09-02-2009 12:41 PM

I'm down. I'm free until 6ish tomorrow and my roommate wants to get a gto so I guess I better figure out how to work on them sooner or later

It didn't help at all? Your clutch really felt too mushy.
How soon off the ground does it engage?

Elliott18t 09-02-2009 01:16 PM

I'd really like to know how either one of you guys thinks this has anything to do with a turbo?

lagos 09-02-2009 01:24 PM

Dan, here is how I set the clutch adjustment on my car...
6in high, 1/2in freeplay.
http://www.celicatech.com/imagearchi...ual/clutch.pdf

Here is where I got my extended slave pushrod, however my car only had minor issues when shifting at a very high rpm from 1st to 2nd. This did cure it, but it wasn't as bad as your problem.
