My feet in the water
http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m...liaTrip057.jpg These pics are from Mystery Island, which was an Island away from where the movie "Castaway" was filmed http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m...iaTrip0600.jpg http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m...aTrip05400.jpg http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m...liaTrip056.jpg This is a photo from my balcony at the resort, the Lagoon is about 20 feet past the pool http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m...liaTrip044.jpg I had about 600 photos on my old computer desktop, my uncle decided to "clean" the computer itself one day and the heatsink broke a few days later. I was only ever able to keep a few of the pics I had thankfully uploaded to photobucket which still frustrates me. |
I also hit up Australia and New Zealand during the entire month I was down in the south Pacific. Ended up in the hospital after finding out that I'm allergic to Octopus....but thats the only thing I'm known to be "allergic" to

Nick, you've been to Antarctica? Thats the only one I haven't been to... not sure if I'll be able to tackle that one any time soon though, but maybe some day.
Countries I want to revisit most: Vietnam and India (Varanasi specifically). Everyone in Vietnam was so incredibly friendly, it was just really endearing. Very beautiful country as well and such interesting landscape and culture Varanasi is the most mysterious, intriguing, culturally rich place I have ever been. Its dark, dirty, rough, totally not welcoming to foreigners, etc etc. but I lucked out and had a guide there who showed me the real side of the city in the labyrinth of walkways and alleys, the silk shops, funeral pyres next to the Ganges river, and more. I was only in that city for 24 hours but I only slept for about 2 of them because I couldn't bring myself to stop exploring. Amazing, and I will definitely be going back. Certainly not for most though, haha. My guide's name was Leo... I asked for his contact info and he wasn't sure how to write it, but he just told me to ask for him by first name next time I get to the city, he was completely confident I would be pointed his direction with ease. Guess I'll have to take his word for it... |
Damn Antarctica, no I have not been, slipped the mind that it counts. I want a penquin though.
|
that would be awesome...
