This is true, we gotta get you in here. This weekend and next are booked up, but you pick the weekend and I'll make it happen!

HickRocket1258 08-28-2009 03:18 PM

Nick I'll slowly be competing against you haha. I have a car to do soon. Doubt it'll turn out as nice as yours but we will see how it goes.

Oakes 08-28-2009 03:24 PM

I'll slowly continue to crush you lol. BRING IT!

Call me when you can do this.

I agree. Work on your day off when you can. It's not an obligation. Companies need to understand that even thogh it may be are job/career, there are still other things in our own lives. I hated bosses like that

Oh trust me Nick I know you'll do better than me. I won't have as much money tied up in it as you. I definately like your work though. :)

Oakes 08-28-2009 03:34 PM

haha, thanks, don't think I'd ever really get competitive with you haha. I'm always for helping other guys out that know what they're doing cause I can't do EVERY car lol. You all better get excited for this Evo thread, I think I finally got this whole picture ordeal down :)

Exactly. I'm extremely thankful for the flexibility of this job. I could be required to work 6 days a week but Im not and if I need the extra money, I am free to come in, no questions asked. However. We were told before that there were no more Sunday shifts until 2010 and without warning he started scheduling Sundays. lol...

Oh well. He doesn't give me **** and I don't give him **** and we go on our way. He can't fire me because I don't want to work Sundays. I was told that if I couldn't work Sundays I didn't have to but if I could that it would be appreciated. That's where it will stand.

Also, if I had a little more notice than 2 days before that he was going to be open, then sure, I would consider it. But he give no warnings ever. I have a life and it doesn't revolve around my job lol.

I could rant for days about my boss and how he runs his company. But it's just a job and I get up, go to work, come home and that's that.

HickRocket1258 08-28-2009 03:51 PM

I wouldn't get competitive with you either Nick. We are friends and will have our seperate group of people that want to get their cars done haha. Yeah get the picture thing down.

DPan sounds like you could go on for hours about your boss haha.

Marina just keep trying. I didn't think I'd ever find a job but I did and now moving onto something better on Tuesday.
