+1 for the sleep deprivation of TROLL....you seem to work well on no sleep. Didn't you only have like 2 hours of sleep the day we put my 6-speed tranny in?

SRT42EnVy 08-03-2007 12:06 AM

props to this, mad skillz!

just wanted to beat fred and pete to the punch...

ITS ALIVE!!!

first off, fred and pete are animals. i heart them very much even though i know sometimes i have a funny way of showing it. i wont turn this into an award speech but those guys are awesome... i owe them both big time for the crazy amt of time they put into this.

but back to the details... the car is still on jackstands, and the hood and bumper arent on, and the interior and dash arent in, but we did all that stuff on purpose. first we wanted to start her up and be able to check everything out... over top, underneath, interior wiring, ic piping, etc etc... and i gotta say that it looks like we nailed it on the first try... pretty awesome.
pete and fred stayed way late to see this thing turn over tonight so they just both bounced, and i'm not too far behind them. we'll be back tomorrow hopefully to button things up.

edit: pete i'm eating that half of a cheesesteak right now and its delicious :)

Crzyguy972 08-03-2007 03:05 AM

wow thats amazing to hear. i rememebr you guys leaving hte meet at like 11 and just begining to go back to work. glad its all coming together for you guys. pics please!!!!

teh DIRT 08-03-2007 03:05 AM

its all yours buddy.

Its been a long 2 weeks...but considering we tore down an entire car and built it back together with every nut, bolt, and component available...it went quickly. I loved every minute of it (aside from the tranny minutes) and would do it again in a heartbeat.....for lots and lots of money :)

Video will be up tomorow after 3. Its a hooot.

ScoobyNubieToo! 08-03-2007 06:36 AM

Whoa....nice! So how long until it's fully complete you think?

Shades of Gray 08-03-2007 07:05 AM

I can't believe how fast this project came together. Like Pete said, you tore that thing down to nothing first...WOW.
Awesome stuff, and congrats.

We know.
Some of us just wanna know when it shall be road worthy.

WKderF 08-03-2007 11:03 AM

the carpet, dash, and seats will most likely go in this evening. after that, its just some adjustments of the coilovers, and a few fluid checks. the car is just about done. im sure we will post pics up as soon as the wheels are on the ground. it was several weeks in the making - but well worth it.

piknockout 08-03-2007 11:19 AM
