Been slacking on my bolt gun action. Picked up a Remington 700 SPS Tactical in 308. The for-end channel has been cleaned up and trigger has been dialed down to about 2 pounds. My range only has 100 yards , so need to get some were and stretch her legs...

Sometimes it will eject the casing right back into my forehead.
Sometimes it will jam a casing on the way out.

Glock says I can send it back to get warranty work done but its gonna take 4-6 weeks, gonna suck being without a gun that long but maybe I'll use this as an excuse to buy another ;)

I've reviewed your comment and highlighted the problem for you.

I'm starting to feel the same way. aren't the extractors the same in the gen 3 and 4? Can't help but feel like it's due to that spring.

Vintage revolver collector here. Favorites, 1929 Colt Police Official 38 special former officer carry weapon. 1975 Smith and wesson Model 14-6 6" Barrel 38 special. Still had the pinned barrel back then. Balls accurate to the end of any indoor range i've ever been to.

I am not sure, for some reason Glock changed a lot of the parts from Gen 4 to 4.

Like I said you can buy the adapter for the RSA and put the 3rd Gen RSA in and should hopefully eliminate that problem...the extractor could be a spring issue, but its a brand new gun (kinda of weird for the spring to be worn out, where as there might be a problem with the extractor itself....

From what "I" believe is they used a new style extractor in the Gen 4...Can you please provide the first 3 of your serial so I can do a little more research...I know Glock was also addressing these issues on some of the production runs

Also could go another route and polish down your extractor, or get a replacement extractor from Lone Wolf

From what I read, they used a .40 spring in the 9mm which makes the slide come back too fast and just doesn't work. They are sending me a "revised" spring so well see what happens. First 3 are RKK

Whats up guys, I should be getting the Glock 23 Gen 4 this weekend, and from what I've been told, its just a spring issue. And I've also been told if you give Glock your cereal number they'll send you a new spring for free.
