If you buy a higher end car, and spend thousands of dollars on rims and a stereo system and always pay someone to do the work for you, than you are neither learning anything nor are you increasing the value of your car. Now if on the other hand you focus more on the performance side of things, and you do your own work, the money spent is more than worth the things you learned and the power you gained in the car. I knew NOTHING about cars when I started. A few thousand dollars later I got a quick, good looking car, and I learned more than a UTI student. So yeah, Im with Dan. The best part about modding your car is what you learn from the process. You dont mod the car, the car mods you! |
Doon't stop beleeeeeevin

Is it time to go home yet

Lunch someday? |
I would also like to add that you don't have to mod a car to learn from it. I personally haven't done many mods to my cars, but rebuilding them has taught me a lot.
