True true. I have a lot of help from the Mazda community too. I look at other people's mazda's and get all sorts of crazy ideas, then make them my own. I'd like to get a system in my car... but all that just costs too much for me right now. I'm just pacing myself for now.

ASIAN JUL 08-21-2009 12:20 PM

What are you planning on doing to your car?

I just ordered springs. I will be getting 20% tint. I will be getting powder coated pink lugs. New tires/wheels... I will be keeping my stock wheels for winters and painting them black and new wheels (which will be either white or gold) for regular use. Sound system (eventually...). And who knows what else. My boyfriend wants me to get an exhaust and CAI... but we'll see how that goes.

you can't live your life letting other people tell you what to do.

modding a car is ultimately a waste of money and time. however, both things are relative. money is a concept and time is beyond anyones ability to control. do with both what you will.

maury is such a great show. my self es-steam after watching it is through the roof.

Elliott18t 08-21-2009 12:29 PM

well said.

I hardly find any car an investment unless you have found an old barn find of a duesenberg or some other rare collector car that you will restore.

Scapegoat 08-21-2009 12:31 PM

cars suck money... they are possibly the worst thing you can purchase.

but we're here for a limited time... and we've effectively purchased something large with a piece of paper that we all agree has some kind of value. when the global economy fails and we're left in a post apocalyptic world money will mean nothing and we'll all have sweet ass cars with which to fight the hordes of zombies in

Oakes 08-21-2009 12:32 PM

My car is worth more stock than it is modded lol, and so is my warranty.

ASIAN JUL 08-21-2009 12:34 PM

My car is.... oh wait.

Oakes 08-21-2009 12:36 PM

And who's fault is that?

I don't plan on spending $50k on mods. The most expensive thing I think I'm getting are wheels/tires... wheels are $395 each and I haven't even researched tires yet. I probably should though... gotta get new tires for winter.

If you could see me right now you'd see how not serious that comment was.
