Some guy I met while riding the Dragon in North Carolina. There were tons of bikes there.

LOL. Yeah I was thinking of coils, but I'll just start off with springs. It's a 2" drop in the front, 1.5" in the back. crazy!

A good used pedal is like $20. I'm not sweatin it.

Need help tonight? Maybe Michelle and I could come hangout and help.

Hmm.. You def covered your bases then. I actually remember your new slave cylinder now. The one in my 3000gt isn't ovaled but for some reason none of the grease I put in there stays very well so it tends to bind when it's really hot outside. Except last time I put regular black high temp synthetic lube in there and the pin isn't binding now so far. That car is on it's last legs. Oil pressure light is flickering at idle. I hope it's not a spun bearing. The light doesn't agree with the gauge though so hopefully a new pressure switch will take care of it.

I'm shopping gauges for the m3. So far I think I'm going to do a 2 pillar pod setup with oil pressure and oil temp, then I will do a mickey mouse setup on the steering column with boost (eventually) and coolant temp. I'm trying to violate the car as little as possible in permanent ways so it's just a couple cheap plastic pieces away from being stock again. I'm liking the AEM digital gauges but $$$... I like that they have a 0-5V analog output so I can eventually run them into my car pc for data logging. The M3 has a coolant temp gauge already but it's an idiot gauge (stays centered while coolant temp is in acceptable range). M3 has oil starvation issues so logging oil pressure during autocrossing will be important. (though I'm told using 15W-50 and adding an extra quart will nip it).

As for tonight, I don't know what the plans are yet, but if I'm going to be working on it I'll let you know. We could maybe double date dinner and movie at my house or out kind of thing but I dunno how much $$ you want to be spending. (we should probably eat chipoltle and then have a fart contest). We have to see what marina wants to do (and Meeshell too I guess).

Ok I'm done ranting ;)

DPancoast 08-21-2009 11:23 AM

Haha I was like "hmmm double date? Cool.."

then I read the part about the fart contest and rofl'd. You don't want Michelle in on that. She'll embarrass us all.

Oops did I say that outloud?

Either way let me know man. We'll be around. I'm down for whatever.. I have some extra cash since JnZ didn't hit me too bad.

HickRocket1258 08-21-2009 11:28 AM

Alright everyone I'm out. Time to go watch some racing. Woo ****ing hoo.

omgjacki 08-21-2009 11:29 AM

Why, hello there.

piku 08-21-2009 11:29 AM

Marina doesn't like when I talk about her but I'll say she is human too and has all of those occasionally room clearing bodily functions :-P ok I'll let you know.

crazyduckme 08-21-2009 11:30 AM

I haven't done much to my car at all. Painted calipers and shark fin. Now i'm getting springs and I'll get tint eventually.

Oakes 08-21-2009 11:31 AM

Terrible idea.

Hi Jacki, coming out to Exton tonight?

Elliott18t 08-21-2009 11:33 AM

There is no point to modding a slow car.
