citifinancial auto won't refinance an auto loan that i have with them... two years ago that was an option. They only do a temporary 6 month deal if you're unemployed or something like that... I should have my mom call them since she's on the loan as the primary and have her do it b/c she's unemployed

i don't think they'll do it on the basis of, "i just bought another car and want lower payments on this one while i try and sell it"

Didn't see this coming...

Hows the mustand drive. My g/f was looking at a used GT500 or possibly a Viper. We haven't gone to check the Mustangs yet though.

my mom doing it... it should work... since i'm the cosigner and she doesn't have a job... so perhaps it will... worth a shot lol

i gotta wait a few months before the credit union will look at the application. apparently they don't want to give me another 12k loan on top of the brand new loan for the stang

wonderful, worlds better than the srt

DPancoast 08-18-2009 12:43 PM

Nah I meant the part where you tell them you want to lower the payments to sell it lol.

Jese, talk about a step up. I'm sure the Mustang would be good for daily driving if that's what she plans on doing with it.

haha yeah... i told them i just wanted to lower the payments in general and he told me they don't do that... so i explicitly said, "i want to refinance with you"... and he said they don't do that either... what a joke this company is.

I'm going to the actual citifinancial location nearby and talking to them since they're not exactly associated with citifinancial auto and seeing if they'll refi. or i'll just wait it out. Just means no toys for the stang unless the srt sells within that time

or i pay off the srt... which may be possible should things land the way i've planned

today is going to slow. someone hit tue fast button.

It was painful to me to just scatter the bolts like we were and just let things go but I wanted that diff out ;) I'll organize the bolts, bag and tag them, and vacuum today probably. I gotta talk to someone about powder coating that nasty swaybar eh?

LOL I watched superbad again the other day. That movie is an instant classic. I think I'll actually buy the dvd.

DPancoast 08-18-2009 01:04 PM

Haha talk to JnZ Tuning, they have a bazillion colors and are pretty cheaply priced.

I may continue with the theme of my CAI - black. Black on silver is pretty hot.

DPancoast 08-18-2009 01:15 PM

Yeah they have a multitude of blacks and silvers I was impressed.

Ok that's what I figured considering the power both of those have.

It was weird when we looked at the Viper. It was on 02 with 15k miles and was only $40k. A new Mustang GT premium with the 3.73 and all options was the same price. We also found an 08 GT500 with 2000 miles for $39k.

Its a tough one. I want her to get the Viper just cause its a Viper, but the GT is soo much cheaper to keep on the road. I'm assuming the GT500 is gonna have very high maintance also.

c0nfl1kt 08-18-2009 01:46 PM

My brother has a GT500 and hasn't had to do anything to it in 6,000 miles except oil changes. He beats the living piss out of it, too.

DPancoast 08-18-2009 01:46 PM

Man those are some serious toy options.

HickRocket1258 08-18-2009 01:48 PM

Yeah, the GT500 is most likely going to be just as reliable as a mustang is no lie. When they first came out, guys already had them in the 12s stock I believe.

Base LS3 Vettes are running high 11s. I'm sure the GT500s have to be low 12 high 11 cars.

Scapegoat 08-18-2009 02:02 PM

a gt500 is soooo much cooler than a vette too

DPancoast 08-18-2009 02:16 PM

Your mom is cooler than a vette
