RSX Type-Slow 08-17-2009 02:23 PM

Had to drive Brandon's dad's GMC cargo van type thing.. almost like an early 90's Safari, not sure of the actual name. I was freaking the hell out in that thing on the high ways at first. Driving it for 2 hours was certainly not my cup of tea. Being as short as I am, I don't like being that far off the ground. I didn't like driving B's pick up truck either, I like smaller vehicles lol but not as small as my parents' Saturn feels

phate1229 08-17-2009 02:26 PM

hey nick we can pop and buff this out right

Sometimes, I have to drive my dad's Titan... and it's ridiculous! I look SO tiny in it. haha. It's super high and I'm not used to it, but I adapt pretty quick!

My honda civic is super low to the ground. I still have that car, but I barely drive it. I love my 3 :)

It has been my job to drive a different vehicle everyday for the last 4 years. Anything from a Mini Cooper to a Box truck, but more high end cars and exotics than anything, this is why I prefer cars. Never got in an accident with a work car and I was on the road EVERYDAY.

ASIAN JUL 08-17-2009 02:29 PM

this car, as small as it is, the automatic seatbelts strangle me and for whatever reason I feel like the seat is really low in comparison to the dash. I have to sit up to see over it sometimes.

I also had to take a Lamborghini Gallardo through Philly around rush hour, drove a GT500 from Lancaster to Paoli in continuing snow, brought an Aston Martin Vanquish S from Baltimore to West Chester in the rain. Drove a box truck with 6 transmissions and 4 engines from Paoli to New York City, only 3 of them were strapped down.

ASIAN JUL 08-17-2009 02:33 PM

I have only driven lame cars :(

Cept for Jack's Evo.

phate1229 08-17-2009 02:34 PM

nick if you keep it up on that high horse karma's gonna bite you in the ass

ASIAN JUL 08-17-2009 02:35 PM

No such thing as karma lol

i miss my titan so much more than my rsx.

but the biggest thing i ever drove was a CAT 627. This thing was massive. I got a backhoe stuck in the mud REAL bad once and had to pull it out with the cat. It was the only other machine on the jobsite. so much torque. ungodly big and loud and uncomfortable.

Those who complain about my high horse, are clearly jealous for not having done the same. Otherwise, suck it cause I got paid to do it.

Meeshell 08-17-2009 02:41 PM

I learned how to drive in an SUV. I miss those days sometimes, mostly because I'm so tiny and when I drove around in an SUV it made me actually feel like I had pressence on the road. I've done burn outs in a Saturn Vue that are pretty decent for being unplanned. Lol. I almost got one as my first car but ended up with a slowbalt instead. I want to get an SUV some day... But I've gotten used to driving my small car too
