So all this talk, what was the first gun?

I just got my Magpul MBUS in the mail, put them on last night...hitting the range tomorrow to get things all sighted back in...

Next move better optic(still looking into this one)

Nothing special. I didnt have alot of money at the time so I just got a pistol. S&W 9mm . I really want to get a magnum next but there alot of money and also an STI mainly just so I have STI on the grip, but again they are also alot of money.

I just wish I had the kind of money to make it full auto

yea i really wanna finish it soon myself, now im really tempting getting a 9 inch blackout upper, since suppressed with 220 grain subsonic ammo is quieter then a sd mp5. ammo is a little pricey but my father has gotten back into reloading a lot now so i would reload. currently the cheapest way to get into a full auto set up with a ar15 is a lightning link. i know my brother mike passed one up about 6 months ago brand new for 5k.

Munky 09-04-2011 05:25 PM

Yeah as much as I love full auto & guns...I just could never see myself spending that kind of money for something. Not unless I get a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better paying job or hit the lotto.

I think 2011s are ****ing HIDEOUS, but there is no arguing how amazing they are to shoot... just too much damn porting for me haha

Its not ported , Slide has just been lightened to reduce muzzle flip. As for being hideous. I used to not be fond of them but once you shoot one or compete with one you see that is like a freaken race car compared to most other pistols. Please post a picture of your pretty pistol  Just messing CMR076, i know you have an amazing collection. I feel the same way about AK's ..

that slide is ported haha, I agree everything on them is done for a purpose, just not very pretty in my opinion! I would like to add one to the collection at some point though.

Brought my first hand gun today so I can start carrying. Got a Smith and Wesson M&P 9c shoot it today and love it! Also got a Walther G22 rifle not much but it's a fun little gun to shoot. Brought the G22 cause I liked the look for it was different looking gun!

Finally found one of the guns I've been searching for all summer. Local shop tracked it down for me and called me up yesterday at work. Went in today and paid for it. Now just have to wait for it to show up later this week.

Nice. Same pistol I bought my wife for home defense. Got the compact so I could carry it easily if one of my own carry guns isn't available.

I use a desantis cozy partner IWB with the M&P and I think it works great.

cmr076 09-15-2011 10:46 PM

cozy partner is the best holster hands down. I am 6' 180ish and can carry a full size 1911 without it being the least bit uncomfortable.

great choice!! I can't say enough about M&Ps, I love them! If you want a like-new Desantis Cozy Partner like they're talking about above me, I have one for an M&P compact sitting in my range bag. It's yours for the cost of shipping or free if you want to meet up. It might as well go to someone who will use it. It's a great holster, I just found the MTAC to work better for me.

edit - pics of the holster. Seriously though, no matter who wants this, just speak up and it's yours. I'm sick of carrying it around in the range bag. lol. It's "style 028", and it fits a Fits:
Glock 29, 30, or 39... Beretta 9000S... S&W M&P Compact (except 45C), CS40, CS45, amd 990L... a Taurus PT145... and an H&K P2000
