Anyone know anyone in the area who is good with carb'ed motorcycles? Specifically my bike needs a new chain and sprockets installed and I don't have the chain breaker tool, it needs the carbs tuned and synced and I don't have a vacuum gauge to sync them. Either way, it's running really rich for whatever reason - I'm probably going to do the plugs to see if it helps but I doubt it will help that much. It's actually a good thing because it runs really well when I thrash it on a really hot day but on a cool evening it makes me smell like gasoline ;) I don't know much about carbs... I'm a fuel injection guy ;)

Thanks, been dating her for about 4 years. Bought a house with her last year so now i just have to seal the deal. Heading to upstate NY to a house on a lake (Big Moose Lake to be exact). There's a mountain behind the house that at the top has a clearing that overlooks the lake. My plan is to go on a hike with her up there, and pop the question, going to bring some bubblies with me as well to enjoy after I propose.

They make a flatbread almost like a focaccia bread. It's titties.

Meeshell 08-14-2009 11:56 AM

That's awesome Grimm! Sounds like you really put a lot of thought and planning into the proposal. Make sure you bring a camera!!

Better hide the bubbly so she doesn't think anything of it haha.

Susie and Ryan, I got the MR2 Midship Emblem between my shoulder blades on my back. It went well. Kinda hurt in my vertebrae (sp?) in the middle top of the tat but it was worth it. I'll post pics tonight.

Super congrats Grimm!!! Go get er!!! Lol

and Mark, we'll stop by man. I may need to use your multi meter for a minute if the relay doesn't fix my intercooler when I swap it later after work lol.

haha thanks... yea i had a few ideas but i think this will work out the best. the funny thing was last night on Americas funniest video they had a whole montage on proposals, and man some of them were pretty over the top. kind of feel like my idea is silly after watching those.

hick, yea that will be a tricky, but should be manageable.

It doesn't matter how you do it, it's just the thought about it that counts for the girl.

Just pack the bag with bubbly before you go hiking. Got to be sneeky with it haha.

piku 08-14-2009 12:12 PM

Good luck Grimm.. Brings back memories. I figured what's the best way to propose to a very shy girl...

Haha I'm evil. She basically had to say yes. That and because she already saw the ring. We do everything backwards... It's awesome. We'll probably never actually manage to get married for real either ;)

ASIAN JUL 08-14-2009 12:57 PM

These proposal plans are so cute, lol. Ours was very boring :)

omgjacki 08-14-2009 12:58 PM

I love proposals and weddings and stuff. That's so cute. Congratulations, assuming she says yes, of course =)

CHAOS 08-14-2009 01:00 PM

omgjacki 08-14-2009 01:01 PM

Send some of those ideas to Reese even though I'm almost positive he'll still drift "Will you marry me?" into the pavement.
