crazyduckme 08-13-2009 11:21 AM

I agree. My tires are far too slick for this rain crap.

Its not that, sliding is fun when you're not around others. I am just painting the garage floor...and this mist bull**** doesn't help.

DPancoast 08-13-2009 11:25 AM

$200k can buy you a very nice house, depending on where you are looking.
you also gotta remember most likely this is just going to be a first home, not a dream home.

regardless anything is better than throwing $400-$1400 a month down the drain renting.

crazyduckme 08-13-2009 11:28 AM

Yeah, I'll get new tires in the next 8,000 miles or so. I don't drive as much as I used to.

I've only rotated my tires once since I got my car. It's got 17,000+ miles on it now after a year.

russiankid 08-13-2009 11:30 AM

So your tires are bald after 17k miles? You're like my grandpa, he has 22k on his 07' Camry and the tires are fake slicks.

Yeah I have been looking at houses in Downingtown and Coatesville and they seem pretty reasonable with the land and how nice they are.

I used to drive a lot... and like an asshole. i've calmed down a bit. haha but i'm getting new tires in a few thousand miles, maybe even sooner. Since I only work 4 miles from home, its hard to rack up the miles.

Even when I was 16 and driving like a douchebag I was able to get 20k out of the tires, with a previous 20k on them.

DPancoast 08-13-2009 11:38 AM

My tires last pretty long. I drive about half as much as I used to. Even with cruising for no reason included

crazyduckme 08-13-2009 11:38 AM

The stock mazda tires aren't that great. Everyone on my other forum complains about them too.

The taxes in Downingtown aren't bad. I owned there for 3 years. Coatesville is where all the corruption in the local gov. resulted in taxes practically doubling in some instances.

Scapegoat 08-13-2009 11:42 AM

i want a house... maybe in a year or two.

my car is dirtier today than it was yesterday before washing it...
