jordan, 99vette, and phillysvt... what do you guys think? This looks like a pretty killer deal compared to the others I have been pricing out:

It's a presample so you would have to be a sot and have a letter from local police to buy. Now if that was a transferable it would be a 15 to 18 k gun, being that it would be a registered receiver. The price on hk guns with registered Sears have really gone up in the last three months.

Went to the splitrock gunshow yesterday and ended up buying a Springfield 1911 .45ACP! I've wanted a 1911 for so long and have been dying to add a .45 to my collection. This pistol is the beez neez.

Just check sturm and subguns a few times a day when you are ready to buy. I picked up a mint MP5 a3 S&H sear gun for $14.5k that was only fired a few times. I know that sounds like a lot but I've seen sears sell for over 13k recently and complete mp5 sear guns for 16.5-18k so I think I got a good deal. I sent the guy 2 e-mails when it got posted at 10:30pm on subguns and called him the next morning. He told me he had 42 different people e-mail him from the time he posted it till I talked to him at 9am the next day. I happened to be the first in line and told him I would most likely take it in the e-mail I just wanted to talk to him on the phone first. In fact, the c3 dealer I bought my CA89 from told me he called the guy to buy it that same morning. Understand that hk sears and sear guns are the hot ticket right now. With all the quality clone builders out right now alot of people are in the market for them over other NFA stuff. You can have one sear that turns a bunch of different host guns into full auto (from a 9mm to a 7.62 beltfed) So you got to be ready to jump on the deals, cuase anything priced on the lower end is selling quick right now.

^^^Gorgeous, my next big purchase will be a 1911...I was shopping for them a few months ago and walked out with an AR, now i have 2 AR uppers and accessories (addicted)

Im also in the market for another .22 possibly a GSG

but looking for thoughts about .22 drop in conversion for an AR-15 (pretty cheap) are they worth it?

I think they are. My father has a dedicated 22 upper for his m16. Man it is fun. Now with the black dog magazines out their I would buy a kit if you really are thinking about it.

SvicksTc 08-15-2011 09:55 PM

^^^Thanks for the input, I dont think i would buy a dedicated upper right now so was looking at the drop in conversion, especially the stainless steel models..

I was handed down some vintage handguns and just go around to stripping them and cleaning them....

picked up a new buffer with spring for my ar 15 lower that i built, its a spikes tactical st-t2. now i just need to buy a upper. reason i went with this buffer is because its for short barrel uppers, which this lower is registered as a sbr.

Nice, do you know what you want yet?

rodder 08-16-2011 09:08 PM

damnit I don't have any extra money for gun stuff right now. :(

A 100 rnd box of .45 is the only gun-related purchase I've made since the spring valley forge show.

Well my lower is complete now. I'm most likely gonna buy a 10.5 inch 223 upper. I mainly built this to buy a 9mm upper to run with my swr trident 9 whenever that comes in. I'm really liking the new aac 300 blackout upper too.

Well I heard theirs only gonna be two more shows at valley forge. Except for this lower I should have a Dakota tactical mp5 navy pistol that's built with all hk parts except the receiver in a week or two. That's all the gun stuff I have bought lately.
