Alternative to cow's milk. I hate the taste of soy milk. Tastes like almonds, non refrigerated.

Oh and I am starting to believe that I'm very lactose intolerant, hence the need for alternative milk

Gotcha, that's what I was thinking. Probably makes awesome chocolate milk.

Always talk about it..never do it:furious:

Trying to make salad a big part of my diet. I love veggies. I love salad, etc.

Why? Salad is for rabbits and other animals alike. Salad will just stretch your stomach out and make you hungry more often then usual.

Girls are such pussies! lol

Meh I've heard the exact opposite. If I eat a meal sized salad I get pretty full. If you eat the right kind of salad, it's low cal and satisfies your hunger.

I don't like red meat unless it's on a cheese steak. Don't eat pork, don't like turkey. I eat fish and chicken but I mainly stick to vegetables and fruits and I'm trying to ween off of carbs. And dairy products since like I said I think I'm really lactose intolerant

Carbs are my weakness

I think you should do the veggie thing but do it along with chicken... you cant just do veggies and nothing else. Keep it well rounded... throw in some whole wheat pasta or brown rice and some good seasonings and you'll be set.

D Money 08-09-2009 02:18 PM

haha yeah you're right, I am new at this stuff and don't really know much about it.

You're trying to ween off carbs but you eat fruit? :rotfl:

Oh I do have chicken on the list. I usually add that or a little fake crabmeat in just for variety..

Whoa, chill I'm not trying to insult or doubt your knowledge.

Let me be more specific.. I'm trying to ween off of 'bad' carbs like all the soda I drink (I usually have like 5 cans a day), pasta, bagels, white rice.

Most fruit is considered 'good' carb as long as it has a low GI so I'm not sure what the laughing is all about.

What the hell is going on in here!

Someone recommend me a good massage therapy/parlor.

D Money 08-09-2009 02:31 PM

I was kidding relax.

You drink 5 sodas a day? That's around 750 calories if you're talking cans & 1,000 calories if you're talking bottles, and the carbs are 40g per can and 70g per bottle. If you dropped JUST that, I can guarnatee you'd melt away 5-10lbs. Granted, alot would be water weight but you'd drop fast. Now take out soda AND you're regular pasta, begals, and white rice and you should drop down significantly.

Without working out, you could possibly drop your carbs to around 50-100g per day. Get a good bowl of cereal in the morning which will give you energy for the day. Then maybe a nice wheat wrap or bread for lunch, and some brown rice for dinner. They're all fast absorbing and they will give you energy and not make you hold on body weight.

Fruit has tons of sugar and carbs, stay away if you're trying to cut weight.

Methamphetamines work well for cutting weight

D Money 08-09-2009 02:38 PM

Yes! Research the street drug called, "Clem" short for clembuterol. All of the stars are doing it! LOL

I've started cutting out soda big time. I used to bring one with me to work, drink it for energy then buy one when I went out for errands, then come home have 2 with dinner and at least 2 before bed. I've had maybe 6 sodas in the last 2 weeks now. At work now I've been drinking water and/or green tea.

I've lost 11 pounds in the last month. I attribute that to not eating cheesesteaks every Friday, slowing down on soda, and not eating as much salty snacks at work. I've been eating a lot more vegetables too. I could sit and eat broccoli, mushrooms, carrots and cauliflower all day, ha.

I want to join a gym but right now my money has other places to go first. I'd like to get a used treadmill off Craigslist just for the convenience cause as of late, I hate driving since I'm driving a pick up that gets 11mpg with pedals I can barely reach.

I appreciate the advice, D.

Thanks. The goal is to aim for 115.

I'm betting my boobs are gonna go first

D Money 08-09-2009 02:52 PM

ok now that is probably unhealthy for your height/body type. I can't ask you here, but what were you, and what are you now? PM if you'd like...

That would be an un-natural body weight and it would be hard t maintain around there as anything you'd eat would put the weight right back on.

The only thing I can reccommend is don't aim for a number, aim for where you feel and look good. Throw away your scale!

ASIAN JUL 08-09-2009 03:08 PM

PM'd you, D

TROLL 08-09-2009 06:44 PM

I dig my scale, but I don't have a set number as a goal... I agree its all about how you feel and what you're happy with. If you feel great then inches, pounds, reps, miles, etc. really don't matter.
Pick a less specific goal, like mine for example: "I want to look good enough that a girl uses me for my body"

HickRocket1258 08-09-2009 06:50 PM

I feel good. I'm like 6'3 225ish. I used to be more around 215, but have been stuck around this weight. I'm starting to get back into working out. Although I just have that big figure.
