Actually, I think that we've been really well-behaved for the most part and with Officer CleanNeon on the scene, the place has been kept clean, too. I think it'll remains a good Thursday spot for a minute.

there was trash in the lot late at night... not a lot but there was definitely some.
and the whole going full throttle thing on street rd. in front of sonic... really not going to help with our longevity.

but the cars sound good. Lighten up.

I do understand the point that we have to pick up our own trash, and that we are putting TST out in the open by anyone neglecting to do so, but it is a parking lot. Even though we may clean up after ourselves, we can't be expeceted to police every bit of trash. After all, we're not the only ones who use the parking lot, and I'm sure that Sonic realizes that and not only enjoys our buisness but is more than happy to pick up a few fries and a couple of wrappers that we missed. I'm not trying to instigate here, just mediate.

LOL I didn't really have to do too much...aside from asking the one guy to move his car when the Semi needed to get out, although he was already walking towards it anyway. As far as the trash goes, I'm not putting out any names but when I asked someone "so you wanna help me clean this place up?" I got no answer, not mad at anyone, but I was just expecting someone else to be at least a bit as eager as me to keep the meet going. Then mom called to help at home and I jet out.

As far as noise, theres really not much I or anyone else can do aside from saying it here. I think I'm not alone when I say that jumping out into the middle of street road asking people to slow down is a bad idea, and when people leave the lot we pretty much have no control over who does what, though it was nice to see a few packs of cars leave to take their racing away from the meet, at least they thought that one through to SOME extent instead of racing right in front of Sonic to show off to everyone....then again I can't say much because I too went through 2nd and 3rd gear at about 3/4 throttle when I left :cry:

Its good to see people having fun, and I hope we can keep it that way. If we keep our heads on as far as what we do and where we do it, and management and the owner(s) are understanding in the respect that we cant keep an eye on everyone all the time, we will be in a good spot.

you did? well then i guess the rule needs to be that if your car is loud or fast then you arent allowed to go full throttle then :mrgreen:
of course from the looks of last night most would fall victim to the noise limitation, not the quickness limitation.

this brings up an interesting question: i always seem to think that my bike is a tad loud (at least louder than what i'd like, if not at fartcan levels)... so how loud did my departure sound last night? or did noone even notice? :)
