LMAO.

DW 740s & Walbro 255 have been feeding my Area1320 built EJ257/EJ255 motor for 12K miles with no issues. (MOTOR issues lol)

Minor Set-back in getting the car tuned properly (Hurricane Irene), reschedule for this Sunday coming.

vdcoff 09-05-2011 04:03 PM

Reschedule again for a tentative date on the tune, most likely within the next week, Autometer ES Boost guage on it's way, AEM wideband to come and a-pillar mounting

vdcoff 09-13-2011 04:03 PM

So I got the car tuned today by ryan down at Area1320. Tune feels real good, he set it for target boost at 18.5 pounds tapering to I think 16.5 by redline. But it pulls hard all the way to redline, i'm diggin it.

Thanks again ryan.

Next on the list is to install my gauges so I can monitor the car better, I have an autometer boost gauge and oil pressure gauge on the way, and I am going to order an AEM Uego wideband gauge soon.

Keep an eye out.

not yet, and probably won;t be for a while, not too concerned about numbers

vdcoff 09-20-2011 07:28 PM

Sunday car overboosted I believe and hit fuel cut coming home from an auto x up in hazleton, I have no boost gauge so I do not know if it really was an overboost issue but thats what it felt like, I am going to take it back to ryan at area 1320 and have him check it out soon. car runs fine I just can't WOT it for fear of it happening again and possibly damaging my engine :(

haha I just read so many horror stories about the notorious ringland issue and get paranoid.

Thanks again for checking it out and adjusting the overboost limit!

Hopefully your taste in music improves
