I need to get my wisdom teeth removed. I've been putting it off, lol

Erik 08-03-2009 12:22 PM

ive had a wisdom tooth come in almost 3 years ago, maybe 2.5, and then it stopped. hasnt moved yet to the day. its wayyyyyyyy up there

DPancoast 08-03-2009 12:37 PM

The longer you wait, the worse and more expensive it could be lol

so glad I had all 4 done at once

I wish I had the ability to take peoples drivers licenses away. I was going to Wawa just now and there is an older Camry in the left lane and no other cars in the right lane. Well she was going 55 in the left....get the **** over to the right lane bitch. So I am on her ass so she moves and she decides to brake check me. Seriously?!?!

Also, I found a lump in my cheek today :( I'm wondering if it's an infected lymph node.

It very well could be an infected tooth with puss in it. I got a cavity filled, then part of the tooth broke off, then it got infected and then needed root canal. My whole side of the cheek was getting puffy and the pain was unbearable.

Good morning everyone else. Just got into work almost an hour ago. Had an interview with another company but not sure if I'm going to accept it. Only pays $1/hr more and I don't even know if they offer benefits starting out. My 3 months here are almost up as well which means possible ft with beneefits and raise and all that stuff.

Weekend was good. My dad brother and I went to Cecil to test the camaro. It definately leaves harder now with the converter tightened up. We only got one run unfortunately. Went 8.94@154. My brother had to get out of the throttle real quick because it was skating around on the track some. With better weather and a full pass we are thinking 8.70s are possible.

My dad has his wisdom teeth in now though and he is 60. He thinks it's unnecessary surgery.

ASIAN JUL 08-03-2009 12:48 PM

Not everyone needs them removed.

russiankid 08-03-2009 12:53 PM

I am going to have to get them removed. My uppers are almost through and they already irritate the bottom jaw a bit.

Meeshell 08-03-2009 01:02 PM

I'm not even going to quote it... But ew. Infected tooth comment + eating lunch= not good

Why are people in advisors offices so...unhelpful??? I called my school to make an appointment to register for classes.. Say the date I'm interested in, get transferred to another person, explain the same thing, get forwarded again, explain again... Only to have this woman explain to me like I'm a 3 year old that they aren't accepting appointments and can only take walk-in appointments. "Do you understand the concept of a walk in?" OMG did she really ask that question?!

Ugh. Looks like I'll be sitting in the advisors office all day during my day off next week. Wahoo!

PoorMan'sR 08-03-2009 01:02 PM

i got mine removed, it was awesome, one second im on a table, the next im waking up on a bed, but then i couldn't eat for 2 weeks, furious.

DPancoast 08-03-2009 01:04 PM

Rob. Your Camaro is not fast enough. But congrats. Get on it would ya... sheesh

HickRocket1258 08-03-2009 01:14 PM

Haha no **** it aint fast enough D. Don't always need the fastest car to win in bracket racing though. That's my dad's car that my brother and him split time in. Mostly take it out for big money races. But I agree 11s aren't quick enough for mine. That's why hopefully 10 years or so down the road I have a grocery getter wagon that hits 9s and is still streetable.

Someone might not need them removed but they recomend it when really you don't need it.

The Captain 08-03-2009 01:21 PM

My wisdom teeth are all in, no problems.

Oakes 08-03-2009 01:39 PM

Yeah I hear you man. I'm shootin for something like that in an MR2 someday. Some retarded ass turbo with like 30+ psi at my fingertips that I can drive on the weekends for fun.

Erik 08-03-2009 01:44 PM

i just fed my mountain dew addiction. i love the feeling.

ASIAN JUL 08-03-2009 01:44 PM

I think mine are in, I'm pretty sure. Food gets stuck back there all the time and it never used to. Plus my jaw feels kind of stiff.

ASIAN JUL 08-03-2009 01:45 PM

Powerade Zero Mixed Berry and Chicken caesar wrap from Wawa...... lunch ftw. Trying to chew with only one side of your mouth ftl.

Oakes 08-03-2009 01:45 PM

Well, after a night with me your jaw will feel kinda stiff regardless
