Haha yeah I don't think I ever had any luck with you Cheryl. I'm pretty sure you had my number. I always lived and died by the tree.

Man everybody must be busy. Slow here today.

jpalamar 07-30-2009 11:08 AM

I just got promoted. I'm in charge of all cases in the Northeast Region. Wahoo!

DPancoast 07-30-2009 11:09 AM

It's ****ing awesome when your grandmom that lives in New Mexico that you see once every couple years is coming in to visit and stay at your house for a wedding but you don't find out until the night before. Oh and I forgot to mention that the only reason I know is because I overheard my dad and his immature retard girlfriend fighting about the most miniscule **** on the face of the planet. Add to that that for the MONTH that it's been known she was coming, the 2 people in my house don't say 2 ****ing words to me about it until this morning when my dad says oh yeah we're having dinner at our house tonight, can you be there? Sure what time? I dunno might not be till late. It's not my problem **** hasn't been dine to clean the house for a month and it's all of the sudden time to argue about it when it could have been done.

Seriously? I didn't have any plans tonight or anything. It's not like I'm NEVER home on Thursday nights unless it rains because of a car meet I go to EVERY week. It's not like I told my gf that I would pick her up so she doesn't have to drive and that we could hangout before and after the meet. What the ****. It's not like ive been working my ass off for 6 god damn months working 9-10 hour days just for this very night for my car to debut at the Ross meet. I pay money to live in a room that Im in to eat and sleep, buy my own food when I can afford it and use as little water as possible and I can't even use the ****ing oven to bake cookies for 15 mins last night. Give me a ****ing break.

God I hate last minute ****. It would t be a big deal if we didn't live in the same ****ing house.

/rant

can't I ever ****ing relax for a whole day.

yea we had each other almost on a weekly basis for awhile there it seemed...I was always good on the tree and my car almost always ran the number. Our cars were almost always consistant & dead on. I'd like to practice launching the sti though so I don't make an ass out of myself lol

lol PARTY IN FLORIDA!

EDIT: and Dan as for the home situation, it sounds like ignoring them all is the right course of action.

HickRocket1258 07-30-2009 11:22 AM

D man I'm sorry to hear about that. They should of definately told you way in advance. I hate when random **** has to pop up last minute and your like oh, I should of been told about this before.

Yeah Cheryl it did seem like that after awhile there. I had that problem with my chassis where it was falling apart when trying to tighten the motor mounts.

Yeah D he might be right. Be like well if I was told this situation at least a week ago I could of planned around it.

DPancoast 07-30-2009 11:28 AM

If I ignore it I'll look like an asshole and never hear the end of it from my dad. It's the otherside of the coin when I live with him. I can't avoid him until he cools down, he'll just give me **** and get mad. There is no logic when **** like this happens. It's always my fault

Oakes 07-30-2009 11:30 AM

My family = definition of last minute ****. I don't even wanna get into it, short example, two days ago they all woke up and decided to go down the NC for the week....no notice, no planning, just gone.

I know the feeling Dan, trust me, and it's EXTREMELY frustrating.

piku 07-30-2009 11:31 AM

HickRocket1258 07-30-2009 11:35 AM

Nick that definately sounds frustrating. I think I would enjoy that ordeal going to NC. Did they at least leave you a note?haha

Nope, I called my dad to ask about something and asked where he was cause he wasn't at his house, he replies "passing Virginia Beach" ........wtf?

Then I got the story, they thought I was "busy" and didn't tell me. This happens ALL the time, you can ask my friends, both my houses become vacant for weeks at a time because of this stuff.

HickRocket1258 07-30-2009 11:41 AM

Nick that must be nice being able to have houses open all the time, but I honestly don't think I would like that. I actually enjoy spending time with my family. Even though they are working on the house all the time, when there is times to relax and chill it's nice talking to them, watching a movie, talk about racing, etc.

I don't know what kind of parents you have but that sounds like a good problem.

DPancoast 07-30-2009 11:48 AM

Don't get me wrong. I haven't even talked to my grandmom for a couple years. Not even on the phone more recently.
I do want to see her and I'd love to have dinner, but no one knows what time or if it's at my house or somewhere else or anything.

Like I'm supposed to just sit and wait....

ugh ok I'm done.

Oakes 07-30-2009 11:48 AM

Yeah, we have those times like...twice a year. My dad is gone traveling for about 85% of the year, and my mom also travels a lot as well and lives in a different house. My oldest brother moved to Myrtle Beach and my other older brother is just randomly missing all the time. Adam leaves for NC State in the middle of the month and my mom moves out of her house on September 1st (this is also sudden news) to god knows where. Nothing is ever planned, it's always a phone call stating this is whats happening, act accordingly.

There has been a few times that I've been headed out for the night or ALREADY out for the night and I get a phone call sayin either "need a ride to the airport" or "need to be picked up from the airport" or better yet, family is coming in town. Over the past 2 years though its been bad, all the phone calls have been, so and so just passed or is in the hospital. Everything is just so unstable that somehow it works in the end, it's all a mystery to me.
