I go either way on the party school thing. Sometimes I wish I went to something like that, the other times I think it's a waste of time/$$.

the only huge benefit with graduating from PSU is the contacts you make because of it. Which obviously amounts to 90% who you know and 10% what you know

It's only considered 13th grade if you go to a satellite campus with no dorms.

If you're away from home... it's legit. :) HAHA.

PoorMan'sR 07-27-2009 04:49 PM

im about to attend main campus for my remaining years of college, apparently the people that switch from the branch campus's usually are the ones that go real crazy with the party scene, we'll have to see how i fair

Mark. This is an awesome new term. I vote more people start to use it on a more frequent basis. I lol'd

Also... Ken, have fun during vacation. At least you won't be at work! And you'll have tons of time to go on here. Oh wait, you seem to be on here all day anyway...

PSU graduate? you sound a little miffed

one of the benefits of needing to be online for work and having two monitors is that i can keep myself entertained while i work.

my vacation will... sadly be me working on my own website. but at least i can sit around in my underwear for a week.

Elliott18t 07-27-2009 04:54 PM

russiankid 07-27-2009 05:07 PM

I just cut the grass and holy hell it is hot. I am going to a bonfire tonight and I am glad I went to Sam's earlier to get drinks.

Oakes 07-27-2009 05:08 PM

I can sit around in my underwear....infact I'm naked in a towel right now lol. Just got outta the pool

russiankid 07-27-2009 05:09 PM

I was in the pool for 6 hours yesterday...hence why I am sore.

lol Nope, not a PSU grad. No where close actually. I take night classes at Montco. I dont even think what I'm part of is considered 14th grade.

I totally agree with you though. My dual monitor set up at work makes it incredibly convenient to multitask between work databases and well ... un-work-related websites all day. It's one of the only ways I stay sane there. Enjoy your time off though... at least you'll be doing things in your own time without deadlines and annoying co-workers. I was just informed today that I have 116 hours left for the year. Holy crap. I need to get away.

I'm gonna go set up a dual monitor now on my desk lol

it will be nice to be able to focus on my stuff for the next week... even though i'd rather be out and about enjoying bikinis, sun and sand

i've got two 19" widescreens at home and a 20"... eventually the 20" will be hooked up to a linux server i plan on building to run my web dev business. Though, i'm tempted to go with some dual 22"s for my desktop. the height on the 19" kinda sucks at 900px. but thats mainly due to my computer recognizing both monitors as different, even though they're 100% the same

russiankid 07-27-2009 06:29 PM

My dad has dual 19" wide screens down stairs. Its really convenient when you're doing a research paper. I would run dual screens but I don't have room for a second monitor.

ASIAN JUL 07-27-2009 10:31 PM

Orphan is def a creepy effing movie

piku 07-27-2009 10:58 PM

I got my car pc screen and bezel. It's pretty nice but it requires a lot of fabrication and uh modification of the car ;) I am going to relocate my head unit to the glove box to power the highs rather than buying another 4 channel amp. I was playing around with it today with the interface I'm going to use and it's very very nice. I don't use my aspire one enough so it's getting repurposed ;-P

Erik 07-27-2009 10:59 PM

****ing exhaust pipe broke the **** in half while turning into work. im sick of this god damn car. hopefully Cash-For-Clunkers will work with me on this one. ****
