Officially out of work. I'm the only one in the front office too, so I can't go find anything to do. Ugh.

morninggggg

grimm 07-24-2009 11:02 AM

sounds like you are looking more for a career not a job, cause there are job openings everywhere.
Retail Jobs
Restaurant Jobs
Transportation/Warehousing

Don't get me wrong but i just hate when people complain about not having a job, when it really boils down to them not wanting to do the jobs at hand.
the whole "i'd rather not have a job and bleed the un-employment then do that" mentality...

I live in Oxford...also known as bumble **** no where. I've applied at just about every place in town here and around here. I have called in, I have went in for interviews but nothing comes up. For me to drive out anywhere for the job, I will spend more in gas than I will earn.

Scapegoat 07-24-2009 11:07 AM

lol at work trying to get me to work this weekend

grimm 07-24-2009 11:10 AM

i thought you were closer to philly. yea the whole commute thing can be a battle "i have a job that nos costs me money to go to" well sorry man... if you can i would start thinking about a career and that might direct your life more. ie i can find a career in philly, maybe i can move there, get a part time job that will pay the rent, and then find a career doing what i want there... either way bet of luck, and glad to hear you aren't one of the people i described.
