So I got a paying gig cooking for tailgatejoe.com (a NY jets Tailgate party fan club) I'll be at all the Jet's home games cooking up some awesome food. Siked and somewhat nervous. Stop by if anyone goes to a game.

Right now the worst part about college is the 4 hour time span of nothing to do.

you should go to the gym, or get all your work / studying done... thats a big break but a ton of time to accomplish a lot

Been really busy. I meant to get down to the Sunday Oaks meets but I felt no desire to stand around in a parking lot after standing around in a parking lot since 7 AM. Also, I'm lazy. Mostly the lazy bit.

This has been the worst month of my life. Everyday I find out some else is going wrong.

Last few times off I've been working on friends cars or mine... So no real time off.

Found out I'm getting laid off May 9th, a month earlier then scheduled... Roughly $2k less after taxes.

Timing, waterpump, accessory belt setup, clutch, flywheel on my buddies 06 GLI.

Timing, waterpump, power steering pump seal, accessory belt setup on another buddies 07 TL.


I missed out on an appointment for tire mount/balance Thursday cause of issues with TL.

I got a screw in my back right tire of my truck Friday coming home from work... which wouldn't have mattered if I could have plugged it if I still had tread... means I had to take off work Saturday missing out on ~$130 and finding out my rear Ujoint was shot $30) which replacement wouldn't fit and my press busted the cap (another $30).

Then I went to put coil spacers in the front and my top strut nuts wouldn't budge and found out the strut rods were bent. ($60). Luckily I have a plasma cutter and hit the nuts up top and cut the strut rods quick.

TL issues led to $130 missed income and finding out all those other issues on parts 2 years/35k miles old.

That blows man. Things always go wrong in a giant cluster ****. I'd be glad to trade with you.

So in the last month I've lost over 20lbs, running 2 miles at a time, and started watching my portion control. I feel like a million bucks even though I had to buy all new clothes.

Nice! I'm planning on working out now that I'll be jobless Sunday.
