google lets you do that :)

DPancoast 07-20-2009 08:21 PM

hahaha busted

piku 07-20-2009 11:08 PM

Dan,

Good news about the car really. I wouldn't want to see some stupid problem mess everything up after all that effort and $$ ;) Now you just have to try to resist boost until it's tuned ;) Good luck with that lol

DPancoast 07-20-2009 11:14 PM

the problem isn't resisting boost. It's a stock turbo motor after all and likes boost. the problem is keeping my fingers off the boost knob and letting it stay at 10lbs until I get it tuned.

it wont be an issue. I never want to have to do this again lol.

3rdGenMr2Girl 07-20-2009 11:17 PM

^ so is it all ready to go now??
i can't get on mine until it's tuned because i'm still running 16 pounds due to the spring in the wastegate. i must be verrrrrry careful.

DPancoast 07-20-2009 11:18 PM

haha it's not quite ready, but will be on the road this weekend for sure. I have nothing to worry about tune wise unless I jack it up to 16lbs again... which I wont do lol.

Erik 07-20-2009 11:20 PM

well, i wish i could say i have the problem of resisting boost. ive never owned any form of boost in my life :(

DPancoast 07-20-2009 11:20 PM

once you do... you will never go back lol

Erik 07-20-2009 11:23 PM

ive been craving boost for so long...but i have terrible luck with vacuum leaks and exhaust leaks. i feel like that cant be tolerated with a boosted car or else....boom!

DPancoast 07-20-2009 11:26 PM

vacuum leaks will just lead to hesitation and shuddering under boost... exhaust leaks make it loud and dont give you 100% power lol.... no big deal. gotta learn sometime!

sigh.

Erik 07-20-2009 11:28 PM

:( i hate being poor :(

DPancoast 07-20-2009 11:29 PM

lol tell me about it

xarewhyayen 07-20-2009 11:46 PM

So I got hungry towards the end of the Broomall meet. Got some Wendy's on the way home and then half way home my stomach tells me the Wendy's was a bad idea.

blkZ06 07-21-2009 12:33 AM

now i want a wendys chicken sandwich and about 9 lbs of fries

russiankid 07-21-2009 12:35 AM

I had a double cheeseburger....and about when I was done with the fries I got the message.

and I bet you can eat all of that and not gain a pound

blkZ06 07-21-2009 12:44 AM

yea my metabolism is on some next level ****, I can eat a 50oz steak and be hungry by the time I get home

When I try to gain weight I can pack it on pretty easy but I have to eat at least 4 meals a day or I shed it like crazy too

ASIAN JUL 07-21-2009 12:53 AM

That is crazy. You and your Vette match.....you're both beastly. You could prob break me in half with the flick of a finger:eek:
