I've got two.
And one import.

HickRocket1258 02-27-2007 11:13 AM

I've got a couple. One a mustang (02 GT) and one is a camaro ('85 Z28). One is my daily driver and one is my drag car which is also streetable. And the other one is our full out drag car, but we aren't sure who is racing that one.

By the way dude with the cavalier you can make that thing go into the 14s N/A. My buddy did it with full exhaust, intake, I think chip and a couple other things. It is possible. It was impressive actually. His was a Z24 or whatever.

Nice rides...I'm SERIOUSLY thinking about doing Welds on my GTO like the ones on your '85 Camaro.

Got any extra 4x4.75 pattern wheels laying around?? I'm getting the tire and wheel itch badly.

HickRocket1258 02-27-2007 01:53 PM

I had some laying around awhile ago but they were sold. Sorry man. Thanks on the comments about the cars. We are a drag racing type family.

Ronin Tactical 02-27-2007 02:08 PM

I want two different looks for my GTO - I want the big and littles, using Welds, with 15x8s and 275/50-15s and 15x4s with 165/80-15s....and I want the road race look, too, with staggered 18s (18x8.5 and 18x9.5) with 235/40-18s and 265/35-18s...

HickRocket1258 02-27-2007 11:28 PM

I'd say that the prostars would look nice on your car definetly. They save like 70-80 lbs too. Get some good drag radials on them. I would say get 15x8 with 5.5" bs for rears. Not sure about the fronts though.

Ronin Tactical 02-28-2007 12:24 AM

15x4s with 165/80-15s.....already got it planned...

Now, skip the white letters, because they look dumb on a newer car, and this is the look...

Here's another look...

Ronin Tactical 02-28-2007 12:46 AM

Blue is just ugly....

Kidding - my truck is Patriot Blue, but that's a darker, more attractive color...

ozthunder 02-28-2007 12:48 AM

lol, listen, my blue rocks. Especially without that hideous piece of plastic hanging off of the rear ;)

Btw, get the 06 tails, you won't regret it. We'll need to meet up soon to compare lol

Ronin Tactical 02-28-2007 12:53 AM

Your spoiler is gone? I was thinking about that...and I also have a drift spoiler like the one on Rhys Millen's GTO...it's in my garage....

ozthunder 02-28-2007 01:02 AM

Yup. Did it myself. One plug isn't resting 100% flush due to under the bolts it was "craggy", and I didnt feel like sanding metal. But I think for..I dunno...4$...I did a damn good job and I love the look. Makes the lines very muscular.

Ronin Tactical 02-28-2007 01:05 AM

Cool - I guess I'd have to see it in person. In photos, it looks too much like a 3-series BMW or a non-turbo Supra...not that either are bad looking cars...

twistedlanes 02-28-2007 02:15 AM

hey Goat if the weather is nice you think you and your guys will come down to SC on FridaY?

ozthunder 02-28-2007 11:18 AM

If it is nice, and I can wash her, absolutely. I miss a good drive. :(

twistedlanes 02-28-2007 06:08 PM

^^ i didn't see that. Lol Sounds good if ppl decide to show. I'm always there

Ronin Tactical 02-28-2007 09:52 PM

Took my spoiler off today - Katie and Jake said they like it. My wife doesn't like it. Guess who wins that argument?

twistedlanes 03-01-2007 12:01 AM

^^ haha I'm guessin you do. Any pics?

twistedlanes 03-01-2007 12:03 AM

I made a cold air intake yesterday! nice feel to it the sound is really only noticeable at WOT but it was pretty beefy anyways I'm happy with it. my engine likes the chrome!

ozthunder 03-01-2007 01:34 AM

Jim- As I said, I like it. I think if you look from certain angles it just looks more muscular. If I went back to a spoiler itd be a lip...I just think that the one we were given stock was a bit rushed a bit too bulky. The car also looks mean with our rear..whereas I don't like it as much with the 05/06 rear (looks squat).

twisted- you'll see her Friday if its dry. :)

twistedlanes 03-01-2007 09:34 AM

^^cool

DropTopChevy 03-01-2007 11:42 AM

Ryza24 03-05-2007 11:21 PM

sweet Goat!.. i was gonna buy a brand new 2006 but didnt feel like paying out the ass so i settled for a 2003 Pony ;)

Ronin Tactical 03-06-2007 12:01 AM

That's why I bought a 2004...made no sense to pay $33k for a 2006.

twistedlanes 03-07-2007 02:46 PM

So I'm sure you guys noticed that they started a Honda picture thread and I'm sure there are others how about an all domestic picture thread?

Heres one thats already started, but it's a little biased towards the older cars. http://www.tristatetuners.com/forum/...light=domestic

and heres mine the one thats for them all.

Yea, I could have had an 06..but with the price difference, well, that money into mods, and the 06 would prolly look a bit small in my mirror.

Lotus did the heads for certain dodge engines in the early 90's.

twistedlanes 03-13-2007 11:14 PM

nice to know^^

Ks2000gt 03-14-2007 09:53 AM

haha my car was assembled in canada i think... its still american at heart :(

CAM93Z 03-14-2007 10:00 AM

domestics still dominate all! real cars lift the front wheels, not put power to them!!! :)

ozthunder 03-14-2007 11:45 AM

There is no replacement for displacement in the long run :)

I know some imports are fast, but its just not right putting huge slicks on the front haha it makes me laugh.

twistedlanes 03-14-2007 01:00 PM

sorry guys but I gotta put mine on the front too! its still sounds much better than some bees coming out of my exhaust though!

Ks2000gt 03-14-2007 01:09 PM

Yes, bees in a coffee can are a no no! Its cool bc 8 cylinders can get cheap exhaust and still sound pretty good, but when you put a cheap exhaust on a 4 cylinder most of the time it just hurts my ears.

twistedlanes 03-14-2007 01:17 PM

and is sooo cleche` LOl

Ks2000gt 03-14-2007 01:34 PM

haha i love your sig!!

twistedlanes 03-14-2007 01:39 PM
