the rings are a completely different monster. i would never compare a established institution that has been around for decades. to a racetrack that was open for less than a decade. what i ment as a mecca was that this track wouldn't be just a drag strip but it was gonna hold road course events. it was gonna host from open wheel to motorcycle racing. but do to a corrupt management staff and a mayor wanting a golf course this was not achived.

This happened a several years ago on Long Island. They tore up the racetrack to build overpriced senior condos. The track was never that great but it was a track on Long Island. It was bull****.
