Battery secure.

Wheels all secure.

Proper Snell rated helmet.

Nothing loose in the car.

That's about it, other than obvious things.

Just registered on the boards.

So how did everyone do in both the autocross and car show?

I was going to enter my 300zx into the show but decided not too. Partially because when I showed up their registration was not open yet (not for another 2 hours!?), although they were all there; and they said they didn't know where I would be parked. I didn't want to have to walk a mile to get something from my car while in the middle of the autocross if needed. My 300zx was the white one tucked away by the trails just past the finish.

Sucks we had such a small turn out at the autocross and decided to only run 2 heats and call it quits. Since it was a non-points event for the NEPA region of SCCA and we had such a low number of entries they figured they would try to get out a little earlier and also give time for people to be a part of the car show.

I ended up entering the autocross after all, again. I drove the silver CP Mustang in the morning. Wow, what a beast. One of the hardest cars I ever had to drive. Wish we would of ran 4 heats like normal because we were going to make one adjustment to the course which would of made it so much better.

I was one of the 3 people involved in creating the course, so I hope you all enjoyed it. Believe me when I say this, but doing that is not easy, especially when we were working with such a small lot. I hope that anyone who was there for their first time will consider coming back and realize that this was a very, very small lot to use for an autocross. You can generally expect a larger, more open course and to have a '4-heat' day, where you may run heat 1 and 3, or 2 and 4; and work 1 of the heats you do not run.

I got my best in-car video up online... though sadly my best run was actually my last which I didn't have the camera on. Anyways; http://www.kupop.net/autox/

lawdogg, where were you??? ;)
