I'll agree that Travis is an extremely talented drummer, and I'd go as far as to say he's definitely up there on the list, but I'm still going to stand by Neil Pert as best drummer alive.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

Neil Pert is greeeeat, but Travis is by far my favorite.

I just came on here to post this and was beaten to it, lol.

This really is a shame though. i am not a fan of Blink182 but really liked his solo stuff. My heart and prayers go out to him and his family, as well as the others involved.

Man, Travis Barker is the man. Best drummer thats out there. I hope he pulls through this. For those who didnt, RIP.

mrchariybrown 09-20-2008 04:39 PM

I don't really care for blink182..

but he drummed for the aquabats's "the fury of the aquabats" album (their best album imo) and for that, I hope he makes a full recovery to keep on using his talent..

jdmwill 09-21-2008 08:19 PM

sucks to hear this, god willing he'll make a speedy recovery. beside all the side work he has done with other bands. travis has done tons for after school music programs. The dna of those programs are being used currently in the philadelphia area.

ps. even thou im NOT a rush fan, Neil Pert is by far the greatest drummer that ever lived. travis is a close second.
