McNabb sucked even worse this week then last. 4th quarter was AMAZING! This was my first Eagles game even, and even though I spent most of it in the pouring rain and soaking wet, I had the greatest time. Nothing like an interception for a touchdown with only 1:30 left in the game =)

Not that the team on the whole has a lot of talent, but mcnabb is going to be teh weakest link again this year. He did the "drop back, hesitate, start to throw, then stop, then start to scramble, then stop, then finally throw innaccurately" thing again last nite. LET THE KID PLAY!!! Kolb obviously is more of a "west coast" quarterback, aka. he makes decisive plays and is accurate. Mcnabb was never a good fit for andy reids (aka. The 1990's Green Bay Packers) offensive system.

They also have too many RBs. Either TOny Hunt or Correl Buckhalter is going to be gone. Cuz i doubt they'll let booker go after making a big deal of signing him.

I also love how they finally draft a good WR, and its like "EUREKA! Looky what we did. We are so astute by drafting this guy". ah, hello Eagles brass, the rest of the league has be drafting quality WRs for years now.. thats why they're better than us.

Man all this Trash Talk already...Lets wait till Mcnabb gets to play more than a quarter of football before we start bashing the guy Eh?

I mean I know he hasn't been Stellar in the past but its not like hes the worst QB to walk the streets of Philly

I got high hopes for the season...Then again I Always do...But you never know what can happen

He's just not a "championship caliber QB (in the NFL anyway). He can't make all the necessary throws (accurately) that a NFL QB needs to make. His game was well suited to college ranks.

If he's not going to win for us, I don't want to waste any more time on him. Theres obviously a reason why the drafter a QB (kolb) so highly last year....

imo- it all comes down to the owners (of all philly sports teams). They pidgeon hole us as a "small market, blue collar city" and thus, they try to spend as little $$$ as possible and put a "underdog" team on the field, and hope to get lucky. The fact that the NY Giants won it last year, only reinforces their flawed thinking that we can and will win a super bowl with the current regime.

Andy had NO head coachign experience prior to coming here, imo he never deserved the job, and hasn't done enough to keep it. He inherited a SOLID core of players from the Ray rhodes era, and rest of our division was HORRIBLE for so long...now that the Boys, Giants and even skins have caught up, he doesn't look so good anymore, huh? All he did was bring the 90's Packers system here. thats all he knew.

You're kidding me right? There was a stat shown in last night's game that showed that the Eagles have had more playoff wins under Andy Reid than the Eagles had over the last 65 seasons combined before he was head coach. And you're going to say that he's done nothing to deserve his job?

I want a Super Bowl as much as everyone else, but to throw away the fact that we were one of the top NFC teams for so many years under Andy Reid because we don't have a Super Bowl is ridiculous.

And guess what, hes been here 10 years, thats at least 4 seasons more than any other coach (besides Greasy Neale who was here 9).. and back then they didn't play as many playoff games... so yeah, that stat is completely pointless. Probably a propaganda stat drawn up by Eagles brass.

1st half of his tenure was 50% attributable to Ray Rhodes.

2nd half of his tenure (since teh Super Bowl) the bird are teh worst team in their division.

No other coaches were here long enough to amass the number of playoff wins he has.

And I believe I share the same opinion as many die-hard eagles fans... I would trade ALL those playoff wins for 1 super bowl champ.

Playoff wins sell tickets, aka. good for ownership/management.

Super bowl Wins make fans happy.

2nd place is the 1st loser. Philly is the best city in the country, and we deserve a team that represents that.

There is no way you can say we wouldn't have won just as many playoff games with Jon Gruden or any other coach at the helm. Andy's only claim to fame is being an assistant to Holmgren w/ the packers... he doesn't have a "track record".
