I have both the BFG DR's & Nitto 555RII's (same compound as the 555R but with an extra belt in the sidewall) on my Z, but I never ran either tire at the strip.

everyone who drag races with them (Nitto's) says you need a lot of heat to get them to stick well. Just from driving both tires on the street I would agree. I can spin the Nitto's much easier then the BFG's.

Thats exactly what i heard, you need a big burnout to get the nitto's going when some other tires seem to be a lot better straight up or with a minimal burnout.

just curious what track you guys going to? Im hoping that its e-town because if it was e-town, come to Atco and I bet you will hit 11s with ease. The track is so better prepped this year, the first 300ft I believe were repaved earlier.... I bet u will better that 60ft and hit your goal of 11s easily....

If u were at atco, Id say time to let some air outta those tires or post a vid so I can see whats going on... just my .02
