he is a discrace. I would have brought a nice lawsuit on that department. If i got arrested for something like that i would be furious and i would say it would be hard for me to keep quiet and just let them arrest me for that bull sh!t. That cop needs to brought up on criminal charges. But he prob won't because he had some piece of metal on his collar shirt because cops are above the law.

Officer Farva. That cop was a dick and that was totally uncalled for. I am all for the use of force when it is warranted, like in the previous threads, but this guy is just clueless. I feel bad for the kids at the local mall, thats where this guy is going to end up as a rent a cop.

at least as a 2.5 he won't have a tazer

evomike 12-05-2007 02:15 AM

honestly what if that dude had fallen into traffic, that **** was way out of line

Now he will have pepper spray and a nite stick... and a roll of quarters to call the police

I think the stupid driver in the car got what he deserved. The guy was clearly giving the officer attitude from the beginning. Did any of you even catch where the wife or whoever the second person in the car was said "Just give him your license" to which the driver responed "No, he's yelling at me for no reason". The guy was disobeying an order from an officer.

I don't like asshole cops myself, but in reality, it doesn't matter how the cop talks to you, if he asks you to do something, you do it, you don't argue and tell him no.

I think everyone is too quick to jump on the "look a cop did something wrong" bandwagon.

I say good job officer for tazing a loud mouth retard that wouldn't shut up!

He ignored several verbal orders. Look at the driver's posture when he is standing outside of the car. His quick about-face, clinched fists and bent elbows screams hostility. I guess acting like a smarta$$ to the cops didn't impress the driver's friend.

agreed, hes a dumbass for not listening

That may be, but the driver wasn't acting hostile towards the cop or making any threats. There was no reason to pull him out of the car like that, hit him with the car door then taser him when the driver questioned the cop about it.

The officer was totally out of line and I hope he was punished for it. I dont think he deserves to lose his job, but he should be put behind a desk for a little while.

Several officers, the police commissioner, and two board members of the Police Association all from Austin Texas think the cop was out of line and have apologized!

Thats some good info. He said he was afraid of the driver pushing him into traffic, but continued to stand by the road anyways!
The cop did get suspended so hopefully he learned his lesson!!

That is the attitude I hate though. Yeah, the cop is a dick. Nobody is arguing that. But why sue the police department? Why sue anyone? I mean, if he sues and wins 2 million we the tax payers pay, not the cop. The cop will just be fired, he most likely was anyway. In the end, all these law suits simply result in everyone else being taxed more.

umm yeah, the man was electrocuted for not getting his paper work ready fast enough and then taken to jail. what the **** would you do if that happened to you?

Well, I would not put myself in that situation. Even though I think the cop was a bit quick on the draw, the guy was being a bit obnoxious to the officer. Also, I keep the needed information in a packet so if I do get pulled over I am not stuck digging through ****.

Also, my point was that suing does not punish this particular cop any further. He will most likely be fired, if he was not I would push for him to be. If you sue and win the money does not come from his pay check. The only people who suffer are the tax payers.

jspek 12-05-2007 05:00 PM

haha thats funny, i just saw a guy get tazed and the **** beat out of them by some cops.

Jeffros Spec V 12-05-2007 05:17 PM

This guy took the taze like a man.
