..and making quite a run with that CRX, too. For those that don't know, Eric is like a go-fast idol. When he's instructing in your car, you automatically improve 0.5-1.0 seconds

piknockout 06-15-2007 03:10 PM

Except that when he rides with me he adds cones to go with that lower time. :p

I ran Philly last year and will be running a few events this year. Most of my time this year will be spent with WDCR and A.I. ;)

DaveSTi 06-15-2007 03:42 PM

I've been to the last two events in the philly region and had a blast. I can't make it for this one on the 17th, the coilovers haven't been aligned yet and I have to do a radio swap. :)

Mr Tomtastic 06-17-2007 05:45 PM

i went to most of the events last year including the novice school. i love it, but have too much other stuff going on this year to participate. hopefully next year...

Cardriverx 06-17-2007 06:02 PM

I couldent make it to the one today =(

I<3myS14 06-17-2007 08:22 PM

It was an easy course today and was fast...

46.7 something on Azenis 615s got me second place in my class (SM). I think what's holding me up in that class is the fact I'm not on R-compounds yet. Oh well, there's always next season. Divisionals are going to fun, lots of seat time!!!

TTsupra911 06-17-2007 08:29 PM

I ended up not driving well at all today and the best I could come up with was a 49.xxx. Kind of a disappointing day driving wise for myself, but other then that the course was great. Then again it was your typical Warminster course.

CleanNeon98 06-17-2007 09:14 PM

il be at the next event given my car is ready

Nice time for the 615s :driving: You squeaked by Lockett on that last run to claim 2nd!

I ended up running a 44.9 to win the class, although when you compare that to the 41.5 the guy in the worked SM evo ran in pro class I have a long way to go :o

piknockout 06-17-2007 10:29 PM

Yeah well the LSD and clutch on its way won't hurt that cause.

awdriver 06-17-2007 10:43 PM

I auto x A couple times A year . I will be at sports fest in Allentown on july 15. First time out with the talon .I want to try awd rather than the fwd Ep3 i have been driving for the last few years.Traction out of turns sucked with no lsd, even with azenis tires .

CleanNeon98 06-17-2007 10:45 PM

how long do 615s last on the track given that they are strictly track wheels?? what makes them so grippy since they arent r compounds

awdriver 06-17-2007 11:32 PM

615's have big tread blocks stiff sidewalls and hold high air pressure. Mine have 6 runs on them and still look new. I don't think I will need them anymore. Just 2 fronts, its the best mod.It made my car competitive in sts

CleanNeon98 06-17-2007 11:36 PM

il start with my kumhos and then get some track wheels

Uh yea that guy was off the freakin wall...

Another thing that's holding me back too is my boost, I'm running 7 pounds on a stock S15 SR. I know I could run more but I'm waiting on my Power FC, wideband, and datalogit to get here.

What pressure are you running on your GT2871R? What type of tires do you have?

psushoe 06-18-2007 12:18 PM

I'm running 14psi and V710's. That's somewhere around 280whp, but I have trouble putting all that to the pavement with fwd. Like Josh mentioned, I have a nismo lsd and a new clutch on the way for Divisionals, so hopefully I'll get more traction. I eventually need to fit some r-comps wider than the 225s I have now, but that's going to take some creative fender modification.

That evo was putting 390whp down with some steam roller r-comps. I'd love to drive a car with that much grip and power.

TTsupra911 06-18-2007 06:28 PM

speaking of R-compounds... Aaron can you PM that link?

You were smokin' out there in Warminster yesterday. The first tight slalom was taken about flat out.:bigeek:
What motor is in that CRX? It has that K20 sound.

PaleDSM 06-18-2007 07:21 PM

I was out yesterday at Warminster helping a buddy of mine with his silver WRX with Marette headlamps. My own car wasn't ready in time.
I was quite impressed with both of the Z06s out there. Low 40s out of both of them! Tons of Minis out there too!
